I have always wanted to do that at least once in my life. Are her predictions and analysis of you correct? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (1:20 am) Reply to: ceeceesun Yeah, probably...but tarot readings are nice entertainment sometimes ;) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (1:20 am) Reply to: bpryder I thought some of the tarot reading for me was kind of fitting, but other stuff, I really didn't buy. posted by: irishred (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (5:26 am) I love tarot....I think you have to have the stomach for it--and understand it...I have seen people get the death card and freak out. hope things are well :) posted by: chailocks (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (8:40 am) Rosie, I'm so glad you posted that. I've been a little embarassed to admit that I am interested in tarot readings. I have my own deck, too. I haven't actually gone to pay for a reading yet, though. A little scared. There is a website online that gives free tarot readings. I find it interesting: http://www.facade.com posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (9:09 am) Reply to: irishred Thanks :) The Death card is not so bad; it's the Tower card that scares me :) How are you, Craig? I miss you!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (9:12 am) Reply to: chailocks Wow! Thanks for the link. I've gone to this site: http://www.free-tarot-reading.net/index.php . They give free readings as well!! I was really into tarot for a while (all last year, I guess), but all of a sudden, I just lost the energy. The cards have been put away for now. I never really trusted my own readings. *teehee* I don't usually tell people about my tarot stuff. posted by: mblog (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (9:33 am) I think some if it is accurate. You do need a new mattress. Giving up on stimulants seems like a good idea too. I find you nice and bright, but not available. But that's not so bad because I find myself unavailable too. I had to look up the word sexy in the dictionary to make sure, and it described you. Are you not sure about the home part, or needing to find yourself? If you haven't found yourself yet, how could you possibly know that you will want a home? Where else will you raise that family that you want? Then again, a lot of this advice would have been suitable for lots of people, and she was wrong about the sexy part. posted by: chailocks (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (9:51 am) Reply to: rosietulips Rosie, the weirdest thing is, I've been using the Voodoo deck from Facade, and one of the characters showed up in my dreams...I don't remember which one she is, but I know that she wouldn't be in my dreams if I hadn't been using that deck online! I think I might purchase that one. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (9:55 am) Reply to: mblog Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading my ... ramblings. I appreciate your insight and humour, but why don't you blog, too!! :p I think she was sticking in her anglo-saxon opinions on me with the moving out part. I am pretty sure of what I want in life. But what I said I didn't know about - I don't think I need to find myself before settling down with a guy. I know myself fairly well, and a person can't stay the same forever. Hopefully a companion is someone you can grow with. As for the sexy part, I think she was saying I'm kind of closed and not very flirtatious. But I've been a little playful yet I don't let people get too close. The last time I saw her, she said I attract men easily, but I never let the depth happen. posted by: chailocks (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (9:56 am) Reply to: rosietulips Also, Rosie, ur not going to believe this, but I went to the link u posted. I've been there before! =) I remembered my login and everything...cool...=) posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (10:54 am) I think Tarot can be really fun and it can help you gain insight into your life. But it isnt going to predict the future. Well, not *really*. I mean, I dont need Tarot to tell me that getting a new mattress will help you sleep better. ;) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (11:06 am) Reply to: lynne Sometimes I have to remind myself that tarot isn't for predicting the future. Besides, nothing's set in stone, anyway. posted by: mblog (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (1:01 pm) Some things are set in stone. But it's always possible to get a new stone. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.24.04 (1:23 pm) Reply to: mblog If only I could write my future and have it come true!! posted by: ladyblog (reply) post date: 02.26.04 (5:48 am) I've had my cards read a couple of times I used to work with someone who did reading to make extra money. The only one I really remember was years ago, 15, 17? During the reading she points out that someone by a certain name figured prominantly in my life and would change the way I viewed the world. That was fine, but at that time I was seriously involved (talking almost married serious)with a guy by a different name! It wasn't until five or six years later that I actually met my husband... the man witht the name mentioned by the reader! Freaky? Coincidence? Or is it just something else? posted by: susanofpudlin (reply) post date: 02.26.04 (9:12 am) Reply to: irishred Hey Craig - The Death card means the death of a situation, not a person. Now you want to freak me out? Me being a newbie Tarot reader? Have the 3 of swords show up in a reading. BAD news. Also, the 8 of swords..... prison, fear, abandonment... whooooooowhooooo posted by: susanofpudlin (reply) post date: 02.26.04 (9:17 am) Reply to: rosietulips - I wish that you had mapped out what cards turned up so I could compare what she came up with against what the cards mean to me and to others who read. Do you remember any of them? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.26.04 (9:41 am) Reply to: ladyblog Definitely freaky!! Was she also a clairvoyant? Seems like this tarot card reader I've seen covers the near future. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.26.04 (9:47 am) Reply to: susanofpudlin I think I've only had one instance where someone said the Three of Swords was not a completely bad thing - something about letting something get ripped apart to heal, or something like that. And she used a deck I'd never seen before, and her spread was really big, maybe 20 cards? And the rest she kept shuffling and reading from the ones she put down...very different, indeed! posted by: ladyblog (reply) post date: 02.26.04 (1:39 pm) I don't know what the lady was, but she sure pissed off the guy I was involved with!
