I hope things go smoothly. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.24.04 (10:01 pm) Reply to: Lizzy Yeah, 8 km and all I have to show for it is 3 blisters...*L* posted by: mblog (reply) post date: 05.26.04 (9:03 am) That is a bit ironic that he called you a slut. I looked the word up just to be sure, and I think he just has a problem with women. If he's equally promiscuous, or even more so, assuming he would sleep with you even if you don't give a damn about him, does that make him a slut? No. Are Wilt Chamberlain and Mick Jagger sluts? No, and no. What about Hugh Hefner? No again. To be a slut, you have to be a woman, so if the promiscuity part is OK with him, then all that's left is that he has a problem with women. And, strictly speaking, it would be wrong to even call you promiscuous since your choices are not casual or indiscriminate. You've made no secret of the fact that you have had multiple partners, so the issue is whether that's an acceptable lifestyle for you. If it is, then the last person who should be complaining is somebody who wants to sleep with you. Personally, I think we need to drop the stigma associated with that word, and hold it in the same category as stud. That Rosie is such a slut! Yes, she is hot! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.26.04 (9:28 am) Reply to: mblog *L* okay.... Anyway, I wasn't attracted to that guy, and he told me he liked virgins. *gag* But that was many a moon ago. I hadn't had many partners then. posted by: mblog (reply) post date: 05.27.04 (11:47 am) Reply to: rosietulips I suppose the best comeback to that line is, "so do I." I'm not sure why he would like virgins so much. Virgins are not likely to want to get involved with somebody in such a casual way in the first place, and frankly, the sex won't be that great. In general, it's hard to think of things for which the ideal partner is one with no experience, but dealing with somebody who might be in pain, and doing something that might be physically difficult just for enjoyment seems perverse. He probably never had a virgin. Since I never made a point of seeking out virgins, I can only talk from my limited experience and say that it's not something you rush into. She won't know if she's ready until after you start and you have to be able to accept that. If what I've read is true, for some women the first time is easy. But I wouldn't know from experience since I never had sex with a virgin who found it easy. And at this point in my life, it's unlikely that I ever will since my wife would never approve. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.27.04 (12:42 pm) Reply to: mblog I know virgins make me want to run. But guys think virgins are safe, i.e., disease-free. I guess they would be, most likely...but no guarantees. |
