posted by: budget (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (9:14 am) Just because people don't comment doesn't mean they are not reading this. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (9:19 am) Reply to: budget I know...I don't comment that often, even at blogs I regularly read!! posted by: jennjr (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (9:47 am) The thing I've found the most ironic, is that the entries I'm proudest don't get anywhere near the comments that some of the sillier ones do. And on that same note, I've found when I read a REALLY GOOD entry, anything I can think of to comment on seems somehow inadequate...Is that weird? posted by: theseeker (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (11:33 am) The internet is a very efficient and effective way of sharing your thoughts. Happy Blogger's Day :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (12:15 pm) Reply to: jennjr That is so not weird at all!! I can't count the number of times I've wanted to comment on a really great post but be at a loss for words. The silly entries make it easy for commenting *L* posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (12:16 pm) Reply to: theseeker Blogging brings out the exhibitionist in me!! *L* Happy blogger's day!! posted by: BobbyJoe (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (12:34 pm) I'm glad I'm not the only one addressing this today. I was starting to feel like a sucker.Happy Blogger's Day. posted by: BobbyJoe (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (12:35 pm) Reply to: jennjr No that's exactly right and quite eloquent. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (12:42 pm) Reply to: BobbyJoe You're no sucker!! But I am still blogging for myself and not out there to be some spokesperson for some higher cause ;) posted by: dilerious (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (2:34 pm) yea i agree with all that stuff, except being girly. u should stop it, its annoying. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (2:36 pm) Reply to: dilerious I'm a girl!! Of course I'm going to be girly!!! posted by: jennjr (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (4:24 pm) Reply to: BobbyJoe Thank you. posted by: jennjr (reply) post date: 06.14.05 (4:25 pm) Reply to: rosietulips hehe. Hmm... I wonder why I never heard about it before. Oh well... I think I blog for pretty much the same reasons as you. :) Don't move!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.05 (8:22 am) Reply to: kreativekat Thanks for dropping by my blog :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.05 (8:23 am) Reply to: Lizzy I don't think Blogger's Day was heavily advertised  Happy post Blogger's Day! posted by: princessapricot (reply) post date: 06.15.05 (9:42 am) I echo your thoughts 100%...I have so many journals at home, which was great for when I was a student and had the time to write. But now that I write for a living, the last thing I want to do when I go home is write for pleasure. Convenience is much more important, and being able to sit at a computer and let it all out WHEN it's on my mind, has helped me move on quicker....ah, the joys of modern technology. Kiki posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.05 (11:01 am) Reply to: princessapricot Do you ever read back on stuff you've written? I have been copying and pasting my tBlog stuff into a Word doc, and at the end of the month, I print out the pages for the month!! posted by: basild (reply) post date: 06.15.05 (2:24 pm) I still don't know why I blog. I blog for a while, then I quit, then I start up again, then I quit. I think tblog is a highly addictive place though. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.05 (2:28 pm) Reply to: basild The community feel is great here. I always enjoy your blog entries!! posted by: princessapricot (reply) post date: 06.17.05 (10:12 am) Reply to: rosietulips I never thought about that! I'll do it now, and start creating a "real" journal for the kids and grandkids to read...someday. Thanks for the tip, oh wise one :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.17.05 (10:44 am) Reply to: princessapricot You're welcome :) I think if I was to print out anything for other people, I'd want to edit my journals first! Some things I'm not so sure I'd want my kids or grandkids to know about me *L* When I die, I want all my journals (paper or electronic) to be destroyed!! |
