++Bitter? Sure :)
12.09.05 (9:18 am)   [edit]
We have this new thing at work for people getting special recognition. With this recognition comes a token. At the end of every quarter, you exchange your tokens for money.

One guy got recognised for putting in extra "several" hours. BIG WHOOP. Why? Because as people working in IT companies, we are *expected* to work extra hours as required. When I first started working here, we were allowed to bank our overtime and take it off. Then they took that away. And how many months of extra time have I put in over the years?? And what did I ever get for it?? NOTHING.

And this frickin' document, I am about to edit...This POS document that uses no template nor does it follow our style guide (both items that are on our network for everyone to use)...The writer was recognised for merely creating it. By the time he gets it back, it is going to look different. Will I get thanks for making it better? Hmm...

Fricking bullshit.

Six months is all I am giving this place.

I want some help with my resume. Gimme a recruiter!!

Oooh, from my horoscope for this week:

lol I've come to a place in life where it may be time for me to move on from my job also. If I'm gonna get treated like I don't matter..at least they could pay me like they do..lol.

I'm happy to give your resume a gander. My father is a recruiter and I grew up editing/proofing/improving resumes.
