Last night, we saw [u]Chronicles of Narnia[/u]. The special effects were amazing! Well, except for some of the scenery behind the kids. :lol: And the beavers were just too cute. Lucy was sweet, but her nose reminded me of a pug's. I just thought the BBC version's Lucy was cute with her bucked teeth. I think she and Mr. Tumnus had something going on. And "Spar-oom" always made me laugh. But I hadn't read [u]The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe[/u] since I was 10. And this morning, I couldn't take it anymore. I needed to take action with my upstairs neighbours. I know living in a non-cement building will come with noise, and I can accept that. I hear them stomping around all the time, and on occasion they seem to have some fun gatherings! But for the last week, they've been playing with new furniture or something. Anyway, there's been A LOT of hammering, which is normally fine. But not really after 10 pm or the first thing when I wake up. Even construction workers abide by some rules!! I was just tired of the constant moving of stuff and hammering. I left them a note. I don't think it was very nasty, but I just wanted to get my point across. It's probably the same neighbours. When we all first moved in, they were hammering at midnight back then, too. And when I did the same thing, they expressed their frustration by knocking on their floors. :roll: Well, time to do some work! I am outta here in 2 hours, and then it's off to the spa for some waxing action! |
