Since I was in Vegas last week, I set the VCR before I left. My recordings don't always succeed. Luckily, I watched 24 while I was in Vegas because I didn't record last monday's episode! But I didn't get all of Smallville! BOOOOO! And I didn't get the last 5 minutes of The Office because the tape ran out!! GRR! Now I must buy the series on DVD. Season 1 is out, I think, but the places where I'd normally buy it don't carry it! However, The Office's Web site is very good, and their episode summaries are nice and detailed! I am just sad I missed the Jim and Pam moment. Jim is hot. I love Dwight's character. And he must have been in Vancouver or is here now because he's in Mimzy which is being filmed right now!! I have no idea what the movie is about but Cute Butt Boy had a very minor role in it. Maybe it won't even end up on the cutting room floor? One line that made me laugh out loud... "I don't smile. People smile when they are scared. When people smile at me, I think of primates." or something like that. And he's been having a romance with one of the women in the office but they've been hiding it. So in a happy moment at their casino night, he kissed her on the cheek, so she slapped him and walked away (with a secret smile). BWAHAHA |

Darn, I know that horrid feeling of missing part of an episode. It's like, "What the heck happened??? Oh God, why? Why? Why?" Thank goodness for websites and DVDs, but still, that moment when you realize you won't finish the episode is right up there with being kicked in the teeth.

*L* I can't say I've ever been kicked in the teeth, but it's just not the same when I go reading synopses of shows I miss! Boooo!

When you're not watching TV, it's alright. But there are some shows that I try to watch every episode of. It's sick!

Why not rent the season when it comes out? Smallville seems like a good show!!!

With my limited TV watching time I don't get to see everything I want (The Office is one of the shows I miss all the time). I sometimes do the TV Show DVD rental bit but shows are never really on my list of things to watch. However, I must admit I'm completely taken in by HBO's "Big Love". I get a bit ancy when I miss an episode!

Every time I want to rent a TV show, it's always out! Or at least the disc I want is out...so I get frustrated and buy the set :-/ Smallville is very good!

I wish I was still getting Movie Central...the only time I ever watched the movie channels was for the shows!!
