Heat
06.26.06 (10:08 am)   [edit]
I hate it!! I can't stop sweating! It's the worst before I go to work. I get all sweaty during my workout, then I go home to my warm home, then I take a shower which gets me all sweaty, and then I sweat some more until I get into my car! There is absolutely no breeze in my place when I open the patio door or any windows. NOTHING! My make up is melting in my home; I'm sure of it. And speaking of makeup, why in the world are Juicy Tubes so popular? I really dislike the texture. And then my hair sticks to my lips when there is a breeze! And the taste of it. BLEEEH. My Juicy Tube was a gift, and I am using it because I lost my Stila lip stuff. *sigh* Today, I'm going to take care of some property tax action. I was dumb enough to pay twice last year. My mortgage payments include property tax payments, but I went and paid City Hall anyway when they sent me the bill. And now property taxes are due again. Ugh!

You think its hot in Canada, try living in south louisiana. My thermometer says 93 degrees F and believe me, its humid out there. Its so sticky. You can just sit outside in the shade and literlly sweat. The bad part about it is, it's not even July yet.

I'm in the mildest part of Canada! It's hotter in other cities. I'm just really glad it's not humid here. Just thinking about the sticky heat gives me goosebumps!!

Um hon, you're supposed to get a little sweaty when you work out...

Try living in Atlanta and not being able to afford A/C. You spend a lot of time nekkid.

*L* it's not just a little sweat! It's a whole river!
How do you apply makeup when you can't stop sweating?!

I was half-watching it. There was nothing on tv... The whole showing your nuts thing was just beyond gross.

I am blessed that I don't have to wear a lot of make-up being the natural beauty that I am. (Hysterical laughter). I use a tanning moisturizer all summer so I don't have to deal with a lot. I usually just wear eye liner, mascara, lip stain and some Bare Minerals powder (don't bother putting that on until I'm at the place I'm going). This concludes my beauty tips for the day.

You are so lucky to not need foundation! Nothing sticks to my face without it! I've heard really good things about the Bare Minerals stuff. What do you think of it??

It's a curse to not need all the paint and spackle. LOL Isn't it funny, when we were young teenagers (when we didn't need it), we wanted to pile on the makeup? I remember until I was in my early 20's I wouldn't venture out without makeup. Nowadays, I can go days and days without wearing a stitch except my lip balm and moisturizer... Yesterday at the gym, there was a woman that was in full makeup - I mean we're talking glassy lip gloss. Her white towel was repulsive by the end of the workout session. She was in her mid-30's.

Been wearing Bare Minerals for years. (love the eyeshadows and eyebrow color too) Takes a while to get the hang of it.
