posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (7:44 am) Hurray for Greekfest! I always love a good calamari! Is this the one near Moscrop? posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (9:11 am) I love Greek food. Did you get any "opa cheese"? (aka saganaki) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (11:48 am) Reply to: themarina This was the one on Boundary...I guess it's near Moscrop?! It's in the parking lot of a church. Too bad they had no calamari!! They had only lamb and pork, salad, bread, spanakopita, gyros, and desserts. The souvlaki was sooo good...and the loukoumades. I'd like to make another trip there before it ends on the 9th, if possible. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (11:49 am) Reply to: lynne No, they didn't have saganki there. But there were a lot of lovely Greek men to look at!! And the loukoumades! Oh dear...soooo delicious! posted by: princessapricot (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (7:26 pm) I love Greek anything. Mmm...wish we had stuff like that here, in the cultural drought of the world! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (8:33 pm) Reply to: FitGirl15 A man who can cook is nice...I have met guys who say they like to cook, but then they never do it! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.06.06 (8:34 pm) Reply to: princessapricot You gotta visit the west or east coast of Canada for that kind of international flair :) |
