I keep thinking about the things that I want to do...get a library card, get a tan, think about what I want to do when I'm in Hawaii, T's birthday, and I've lost my mind otherwise! Maybe I am just going nuts about spending some me-time :-D But I am picking up some XanGo tomorrow after dance class, seeing Superman on Friday, having dim sum with my mom on Saturday, and a friend from Toronto is flying in on Sunday. Saturday, I want to run 5 km, get in some weight training, and TAN. I bought some tanning oil today. I just want to lay out and get some colour. But thinking about getting wrinkley skin is not attractive. Right now, I don't have much going on at all! Well, there is not much I want to blog about. I'm just kind of blah. And today I read that Lucky Brand Jeans have some good choices for big legs. I noticed them when I was in Vegas but wasn't interested at all! When I get to Hawaii, I am going to find myself a pair, dangnabbit!! |

I'm not even sure I want to see this, but I am determined to see it since Mr. National Geographic Shoes asked me and has apparently bailed! I almost didn't go with this friend since he didn't ask me first!!

I'm already tan. In fact, I think I'm a little too tan, so I've been staying out of the sun. (Plus it's been 95-ish for the past week...)
I did weights yesterday. Do them 3x a week. Cardio and sauna every day.
Have fun this weekend. Get some rest and enjoy the me-time.

What is too tan?? Please don't tell me you blend in tree bark.
What is proper sauna etiquette?? I've always wanted to try the one at my gym. I think there is room only for one or two people, but what do you wear!?!?

I wear the clothes I work out in for the sauna. When it's not 90 degrees outside, I also have a plastic 'sauna suit' to make myself sweat more. As long as you have a towel to sit on, I think it's cool. Providing you don't show your goods. And there are a number of ladies who, are better off staying clothed...
Don't even get me started on sauna etiquette. Today was a primo example of major violations:
Multiple women came in nekkid at different times and sat their bare wet asses on the bench. (Can you say ewwww?)
Women would stand in the doorway (letting the heat out) while talking to someone else. (Uh, hello?)
The piece de la resistance was when this woman was sitting on the bench, facing me. She's laying down. I'm reading my book. All of a sudden, she puts her legs into the air and starts stretching. Translation: had I had rubber gloves, I could have done a gyn exam. It was... not pretty.
