Phantom
08.03.06 (11:02 am)   [edit]

What a great show! The sets were amazing! The costumes were very nice! The guy who played the Phantom was the best. It was really nice of The Eater to invite me.

As for The Eater...he is a really sweet guy and is very thoughtful...but I don't know if I want to date him again. I'm not even comfortable being in super close proximity to him. I drove him to his parking lot, and when I dropped him off, he just sat there looking at me as if he was expecting something. I gave him a hug.

We talked about his cockiness. He said he's just joking around, but he does it often enough that it doesn't seem like a joke. Anyway, now he wants examples so that he can stop it...if it bothers me.

However, I'm sure I will see him again. I think I want the experience of dating a Chinese guy. If something actually developed, my mom would be thrilled. And it's actually really nice to date someone who understands my culture.

He says he's never dumped a girl, and always waits to be dumped. Time will tell if he's waiting for me to do it!

And I just wish his English was better. He was born here, after all! When he lost of me in the crowd, he called me evasive. When he pokes fun of me for seeming to have expensive tastes, he calls me materialistic. *eyes roll*

Yeah, I am not a fan of the foreigner either. I went on a bike date with a guy from France, and as cute as his little French accent was, when you heard him on the phone he sounded like a teenage girl... and his use of the english language often made me feel uncomfortable, or like he was being rude, also. That's not good! Relationships are hard enough without the language barrier!

Good Luck! I'm glad that he was nice enough to take you to the Phantom. Sounds like it was awesome!

The Eater is not even a foreigner! BWAHAHAA I don't know...maybe I just can't stay away from Caucasian guys. Or maybe I just need to start conversing in Cantonese with The Eater. But something tells me he his Cantonese isn't that great either. (Works for me, I guess...)

Born here and his english still isn't good? Wow. That's pretty surprising (to me at least).

Glad you found the Phantom to be good! XD

So you don't like him as a person but you want to date him because his Chinese? Don't you think that's unfair for both of you? Why not find someone a little more worthwhile?

The only thing redeeming you've said about him is that he's Chinese. Last time I checked, there are a few Chinese guys out there.

It'd be fine if he used simpler words, but he uses bigger words incorrectly!

I wasn't totally serious about dating him because he's Chinese...If I don't really like someone a lot, I can't stand to be around them.

There are tonnes of Chinese guys around here especially, but they're hard for me to meet because I don't hang around Chinese people and I don't go to where Chinese people congregate!

Okay. So what do you really find attractive/appealing about him?
