I tried some Crytal Lite strawberry-kiwi stuff this morning. I should have known better just from knowing that the stuff as aspartame. I'll just take my water plain, thanks. PATOOEY! |

I can't stand the aspartame taste either. I wish they'd start making more stuff with Splenda...
However the concept of strawberry-kiwi sounds totally repulsive to me from the get-go.

Crystal Light Lemonade is the most tolerable in the packets. Their fruit punch flavor is too sweet for my taste. The orange version didn't dissolve. It just sat there in huge gloppy clumps. Called them and they sent me coupons for 3 more boxes. That was cool.

Nestea now has these individual flavour packets *and* they're made with Splenda! I picked up some citrus tea yesterday. It was much better than the strawberry kiwi!!

I saw that Publix has those on sale this week, buy one get one free. Was going to give it a taste. Plus I have a coupon for $5 off $20 purchase. Guess I'll stock up.

Maybe I will have to try the other flavours some time. But I don't know if I can get over that aftertaste. Bleh!
