posted by: inkspector (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (10:52 am) Mascara -- hmmm - I quite wearing that a long time ago. Interesting subject though. Too bad about the guy situation. I would find those things annoying too. posted by: irishred (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (11:32 am) Good luck with the Mascara Rosie !!!I am sure you will find a sexy one :) posted by: FitGirl (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (1:19 pm) Mascara issue: I'll be no help here. I tend not to wear mascara either unless a) I've got a hot date and want to look sexy or b)I have finished my daily workout and therefore have finished sweating for the day (well, mostly!) Sounds like you have done a fair amount of retail research on this topic though... I'm sure you'll find something that works *perfect* soon!!! Guys issues: 1) I don't like the Eater... you have to drop him like he's hot. (and I don't mean sexy, I mean, like he's a lit cigarette that needs to be butted!! lol) 2) Juscice Man... Did he really say his *name* was Justice Man? That was his opportunity to introduce the real person behind the screen name. Sounds like this guy is a 38 year old cyber geek-freak.... drop him like he's even hotter then the Eater! (And you are right, 38 year olds are just too old!) posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (1:42 pm) Since I don't have to deal with contacts anymore, I don't have many mascara issues. If I'm going all-out with the paint and spackle, I'll curl my lashes, then mascara and then comb them. I'm chicken to go back to falsies - I had one partially fall off mid-date several years ago and I've been traumatized ever since. Pushy guys are bad news. Exit, do not pass go, do not call again. If I interact with a guy online (which I haven't done in eons and eons), I don't want to waste a lot of time with online banter (or even phone calls). Better to size him up in person. In public. With Pepper Spray. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (4:37 pm) Reply to: inkspector I didn't wear mascara for the longest time, but one day I really opened my eyes (horrible pun intended) to the effects of using mascara! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (4:37 pm) Reply to: irishred What?? No mascara recommendations? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (4:41 pm) Reply to: FitGirl I don't understand why people wear makeup when working out! I hate sweat! And I hate how sweaty faces feel. EW! BWAHAHAA Justice Man's real name isn't Justice Man...I just didn't want to use it here, but c'mon! Is it that difficult to say more than "My name is BLAH"?? I have already dropped The Eater like a hot potato. The more insistent a guy, the more I am likely to run! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.08.06 (4:42 pm) Reply to: scubadiva I am too chicken to glue the falsies on myself, but I looove the look. I hate meeting 'net guys if I haven't talked enough with them beforehand. I know that if there is nothing to say on the phone, there won't be much to say in person. Meeting in person just gives me the chemistry vibe (or not, if it doesn't exist.) posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.09.06 (5:03 am) Reply to: rosietulips I definitely want to talk to them on the phone - but I don't like it prolonged - clouds one's judgment - that way I don't start to have a twinge of feelings for someone that doesn't really exist. And there are those (usually marrieds) that love to IM and talk on the phone but never meet. Ya know? posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.09.06 (5:04 am) Reply to: rosietulips I'd say he's definitely a VIVA GLAM kinda mascara guy. That's the stuff RuPaul uses. mwahahaha posted by: apyjo (reply) post date: 09.09.06 (3:40 pm) Hmm, I have been buying all kinds ( Lash Architect by Loreal was nice but $$$$) and came back to Great Lash by maybelline again lately! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.10.06 (10:36 am) Reply to: apyjo Great Lash has been such a favourite of make up artists. I think I tried it when I was in high school and thought it smudged too much for me. BTW, I always want to comment at your blog, but it's forcing me to have a passport! posted by: apyjo (reply) post date: 09.11.06 (9:18 am) Rosie, the passport is simply an email address ( yours) and a password ( that you choose) -- that's it. |
