Nicknameless brought me a bouquet of flowers yesterday. *melts* That was so sweet of him *sniff*

I can't remember the last time I got flowers. Actually, I do remember. They were from Poola when I moved into my place. *L*

He is definitely a gem of a guy.

Yesterday, a couple of credit cards got declined. Ugh!

I'd been spending small amounts of money at gas stations because I didn't want to get too much gas. I am one of those loyal customers. If I can't get gas from my usual gas station, I get enough gas elsewhere to tide me over.

So I guess my CC company was a little suspicious of this activity and suspended my card! I guess I am glad for that little inconvenience. At least I had cash on me.

And then my other credit card had expired, and I didn't realise it. I should really cancel it, but it's a backup card.

Awww don't you just love getting surprise flowers! Especially in a new relationship...*sigh* very sweet. I've got to start reading more, I was completely in the dark about Mr. Nicknameless, heh. Happy for you tho :)

Thanks! I only met Nicknameless just over 2 weeks ago, I think. I like him a lot, and I hope he is around for a while!

well considering I spent all last week in bed sick, I guess I haven't been away all THAT long, lol. And I hope Mr. Nick stays around for awhile too!

Flowers? WOW. I like this guy. Acts like these are not common today. I'm very impressed.

You sound totally W-H-I-P-P-E-D! LMAO
What sort of flowers?

Wow! Flowers! That's so great! It is true that acts of romance like that are a dying tradition in the whole dating game these days. I really like Mr. Nick too :)

(Hey, I think Nicknameless just found his nickname! LOL Kinda like "Mr. Big" from Sex and the City!)

I really hope we get to hear more about you two lovebirds :)

"Mr. Nick" -- I like that! It's faster than typing Nicknameless, that's for sure *L*

The bouquet had lilies, roses, daisies, and some other things I could not identify.
This is all very strange to me. I haven't liked a guy this much in years. I haven't really clicked with anyone either! I hope this last.

The name "Mr. Nick" is going to stick (I'm such a poet). I hope there will be more to tell ;-)

Sounds like a pretty bouquet. (How would you have felt if they were color-tinted carnations? heehee) And I hope that it lasts if he turns out to be worthy of you.

So, let's see how whipped you are. Name three things that aren't 'perfect' about him that you've noticed...

It was a beautiful bouquet, and he suggested the penny trick. So far the water is not looking very murky. The lilies are still opening and the roses are in great condition!

*L* I have only known him 2 weeks, so I haven't found anything imperfect about him yet.

That is great about Mr. Nick. I hope things work out for both of you!

For fun, you two should play some sort of interview game where you get to know a few facts about each other. Like what was your favorite childhood memory?
What kinds of things did you do that drove your parents crazy? What was the worst thing a sibling did and you got blamed? stuff like that.

Thank you! That is a great idea about the game! We already find it easy to talk to each other.

If there is ease in talking with each other, that is a great start.

I was thinking, maybe when you see each other, just have a get to know you better question of the day. That may be something to look forward to if you can make it fun and playful.

Definitely having something to talk about makes things exciting. Even if I have great chemistry with a guy and we often sit comfortably without talking, I eventually get bored!
