09.27.06 (3:20 pm)   [edit]

I just ate two Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I can feel the sugar coursing through my veins. I don't like it!

I am still in need of more sleep :-) But I am slowly catching up. I think a couple more nights alone will do it.

It's been difficult on my body getting back into my workouts. I hate it!! I hate taking a long break. My ass so so sore. And with this kickstart, my body is getting too efficient, sweatwise. It's another reason why I hate having wet hair. It seems to warm me up.

This morning, sweat was just streaming down my face -- making it *extremely* difficult to apply makeup. And there is nothing out there to efficiently absorb sweat!!! Maybe I should start wearing sweatbands. All I did was shower and eat breakfast. Those activities are not sweaty worthy, I tell you.

I have another local reader, but I don't know you are. Would you like to introduce yourself?

Normally, sugar coursing through your circulatory system is a good thing. It feeds all the cells in your body as they like glucose the best. Then again...they are Krispy Kreme. Strangely enough, there used to be a Krispy Kreme in the parking lot of a mall nearby but they ended up closing down. Weird how franchises can fail on you.

I'm a sweater like you. In the summer, a shower makes me sweat too, I think it's cause you are raising your body temperature with the warm water... I mean who has cold showers?

PS... What's up with Mr. Nick? Having a busy week?

Sometimes I wonder if I am the only person in the world who just cannot stand Krispy Kreme donuts. They all taste like plastic to me for some reason. I like Tim Horton's donuts though and even Dunkin Donuts. Although the best donuts I have ever had have been from a local bakery in the town where I live.

We have only one Krispy Kreme in BC, and it's not that close to me. I heard a couple out east closed down. Thankfully, I don't get cravings for their doughnuts!

I know I can't have more than one KK doughnut a day. The first time I ate them, I hate 7 in two days. I will never do that again!

The problem is that I can never decide which one to eat! If I could take a bite from 4 different doughnuts, I would!

Gah, I hate cold showers!! I bet I would still sweat from taking a cold shower.
There is not much new with Mr. Nick. We still talk on the phone and get together, but he's been at my place in the evenings. I think things are a little less intense now since we're not seeing as much of each other!!

I am not crazy about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I can say no :) I love Timbits, though! The chocolate ones are my favourite.

I remember when the KK craze started and I actually knew one girl who brought back a box of donughts from Vegas (that was before the local one opened). I haven't had one in a while. That would actually be a nice B-day treat. I'm going to see if hubby is wiling to pick one up for me tonight. But just one. Because if he brings a box....i'm done for!

Things are a little less intense... is that a good thing?

I'm glad he's been coming over to your place in the evenings... sounds like things are moving along nicely. :)

PS... no more talk about doughnuts! LOL

Luckily, you can freeze those doughnuts!! I had a friend who had doughnuts instead of a wedding cake at their wedding.

I dunno...I think his common sense is prevailing these days (how Capricornian...), but we are still really into each other and things are still moving along :)

Okay, no more doughnuts....I did manage to bake cookies this morning though!! Each one is topped with a Hershey's kiss!

In the day, I could send myself into a total sugar coma with KK's.

However, I was doing an event about 5 years ago where KK donated about 40 dozen boxes for the volunteers. They were all in my car for an hour or two (in the sun) before they were unloaded.

My car REEKED of them for weeks. Now the smell of KK brings flashbacks.
