Then again...they are Krispy Kreme. Strangely enough, there used to be a Krispy Kreme in the parking lot of a mall nearby but they ended up closing down. Weird how franchises can fail on you. posted by: thecyberwriter (reply) post date: 09.27.06 (6:40 pm) Rosie....I LOVE Krispy Kreme doughnuts :-) You shouldn't have mentioned them as now I'm having a serious craving for them LOL Just listening to you describe how hot and sweaty you got from woking out made me think of how much I hate working out myself LOL I hate sweating - gross!! LOL posted by: judypatooote (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (4:43 am) You ate TWO ? shame on you.....lol your as tiny a peanut you can eat three of them....of course you would probably be a bit hyper.....I can look at a Krispy donut and get hyper....but I'm hyper already..... posted by: FitGirl15 (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (8:52 am) I'm a sweater like you. In the summer, a shower makes me sweat too, I think it's cause you are raising your body temperature with the warm water... I mean who has cold showers? PS... What's up with Mr. Nick? Having a busy week? posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (9:34 am) Sometimes I wonder if I am the only person in the world who just cannot stand Krispy Kreme donuts. They all taste like plastic to me for some reason. I like Tim Horton's donuts though and even Dunkin Donuts. Although the best donuts I have ever had have been from a local bakery in the town where I live. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:42 am) Reply to: kayoko We have only one Krispy Kreme in BC, and it's not that close to me. I heard a couple out east closed down. Thankfully, I don't get cravings for their doughnuts! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:42 am) Reply to: thecyberwriter Did you go get any Krispy Kreme doughnuts?? :-) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:46 am) Reply to: breakouttheglass I know I can't have more than one KK doughnut a day. The first time I ate them, I hate 7 in two days. I will never do that again! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:47 am) Reply to: LadyG Krispy Kremes can be such a tasty treat! Have you had any lately? :-) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:48 am) Reply to: judypatoote The problem is that I can never decide which one to eat! If I could take a bite from 4 different doughnuts, I would! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:51 am) Reply to: FitGirl15 Gah, I hate cold showers!! I bet I would still sweat from taking a cold shower. There is not much new with Mr. Nick. We still talk on the phone and get together, but he's been at my place in the evenings. I think things are a little less intense now since we're not seeing as much of each other!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (10:52 am) Reply to: lynne I am not crazy about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I can say no :) I love Timbits, though! The chocolate ones are my favourite. posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (11:17 am) I remember when the KK craze started and I actually knew one girl who brought back a box of donughts from Vegas (that was before the local one opened). I haven't had one in a while. That would actually be a nice B-day treat. I'm going to see if hubby is wiling to pick one up for me tonight. But just one. Because if he brings a box....i'm done for! posted by: FitGirl15 (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (12:05 pm) Things are a little less intense... is that a good thing? I'm glad he's been coming over to your place in the evenings... sounds like things are moving along nicely. :) PS... no more talk about doughnuts! LOL posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (3:05 pm) Reply to: themarina Luckily, you can freeze those doughnuts!! I had a friend who had doughnuts instead of a wedding cake at their wedding. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.28.06 (3:08 pm) Reply to: FitGirl15 I dunno...I think his common sense is prevailing these days (how Capricornian...), but we are still really into each other and things are still moving along :) Okay, no more doughnuts....I did manage to bake cookies this morning though!! Each one is topped with a Hershey's kiss! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 10.01.06 (4:41 pm) In the day, I could send myself into a total sugar coma with KK's. However, I was doing an event about 5 years ago where KK donated about 40 dozen boxes for the volunteers. They were all in my car for an hour or two (in the sun) before they were unloaded. My car REEKED of them for weeks. Now the smell of KK brings flashbacks. |
