Really, you shouldn't be having sex (protected or not) with someone that you think may be "dirrty" (for lack of a better word). However, it is better to be safe then sorry, and he may also just be being responsible. You know him best, you be the judge of his commment. If Mr. Nick really likes you he'll get tested for you, and you'll do the same for him, if your relationship is worth it. (which it sounds like it is so far :) Good Luck babes!!! posted by: FitGirl15 (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (1:46 pm) PS... what does "he's cookin." mean? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (3:04 pm) Reply to: FitGirl BWAHAHA He's cookin' literally means he is cooking dinner for me tonight. With the condom thing, I think he's just very responsible. I have no qualms about getting tested. I even offered!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (3:05 pm) Reply to: breakouttheglass I don't see why people should get offended when getting asked to be tested...it's better to be safe than sorry. I haven't gotten anything either, and I don't intend on getting anything! posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (3:24 pm) Good for you for being safe. More people should do that as for the condoms...hehehe....my mom would probably do the same thing! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (3:39 pm) Reply to: themarina My mom is such a prude that she still discourages sexual activity! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (4:38 pm) What would have been worse: "Honey, your father and I always preferred the ribbed ones." posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (4:39 pm) What's even worse is that the ones in my nightstand have expired. How sad is that???? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (4:44 pm) Reply to: scubadiva I am already sorry I went through my parents' night stand when I was younger!! I've thrown out expired condoms. They were pricey, too! I was a little apprehensive about getting 3 boxes...I hope I don't regret it. But I guess they will last a few years. posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (4:47 pm) Well tell Mr. Wonderful that your mom bought you the 'professional girl's size box' and you'll need his assistance in getting thru them. posted by: kayoko (reply) post date: 10.02.06 (7:17 pm) *pokes her head out innocently* condoms have expiry dates? ....why? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.03.06 (10:38 am) Reply to: scubadiva I'll be sure to get the point across that I don't want those condoms going to waste! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.03.06 (10:39 am) Reply to: kayoko Good question! I guess lubricants and spermicide can go bad, but I think condoms just break down over time. Remember to put them in your wallet or leave them in your car! posted by: kayoko (reply) post date: 10.03.06 (12:09 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Oh, that makes sense! See, they never teach you useful things like this in school. If only I had a car to put them in or a willing boy. XD posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 10.03.06 (2:19 pm) hahaha. I have to confess that I have also thrown away old condoms. I think it is funny that you threw them in the cart at Costco. :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.03.06 (4:24 pm) Reply to: lynne For a moment, I did hesitate to get Costco portions of condoms...it's a big commitment to use up all those condoms! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 10.03.06 (5:06 pm) I think from now on, I'll forward all my about to be expired condoms to you because they ain't getting used here... Or we could start a donation box to those with a sex life but w/o condoms. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.04.06 (10:50 am) Reply to: scubadiva I'd go for donating them to all those who are too afraid to buy them! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 10.04.06 (3:12 pm) I had a Catholic friend several years ago that refused to go into the drug store to buy them. I had to go get them. I would call her on the cell phone while she'd sit in the car, asking her which ones, mentiong X brand was on sale, blah blah blah. Now she was 40ish at the time and she was using them - it wasn't like her parents were going to find out -they lived a few states away. REEE-DICK-U-LOUS! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.04.06 (3:21 pm) Reply to: scubadiva Goodness...why have sex at all? Was she wrought with guilt every time she got it on?? |
