Hope you get a job you like. :) posted by: katz (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (10:54 am) LOL why does your mom have to return the condoms she bought you ?? :) I'd love to see the look she gets if she does :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (10:57 am) Reply to: SupremeAnna I *really* like my 10-15 minute commutes right now. And there is not much snow in my city during the winters. posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (10:58 am) To get the nice smell in your laundry, buy some lavender water. I bought some at Restoration Hardware that is AMAZING. It's essentially just water with lavender scent to it that you add to the rinse cycle of your load. If you're not into Lavender, I recall them having a couple of difference scents. Every once in a while you can also find this stuff at Winners. I stock up whenever I see stuff like that over there. posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (10:59 am) Have a great long weekend too! And good luck with the possible new job! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (10:59 am) Reply to: katz Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it), my mom bought the rubbers on her Costco American Express! So she should be the one to return them. She has the receipt, too. I just want to avoid more opportunities for her to figure out exactly what she bought me. When I was down at the outlet mall last week, there was a Restoration Hardware! I didn't go in. I rarely to to Winners, too. All that weeding through stuff makes me impatient. But then I miss out on good deals!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (11:04 am) Reply to: themarina oh and thanks! posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (11:39 am) Returning rubbers? You can do that??? I thought buying condoms was kinda like buying underwear. LOL Oh, and my 2cents on the new job... smaller company makes me say 'NO, don't take it'. You are right that larger companies offer more to their employees. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.06.06 (1:52 pm) Reply to: Fitgirl Costco takes anything back! It's not like the rubbers were used :-) Now I feel kind of bad. I am going to apply for a job that I don't really want, but I do want the experience of applying! posted by: thecyberwriter (reply) post date: 10.08.06 (12:37 pm) Hi again, Rosie! It's very flattering when a boss (even if it's an old boss) thinks enough of you to mention a job opportunity :-) I don't blame you for not wanting the longer commute. I left a job that where I was commuting almost 30 miles one way. Trust me, it got old REALLY quick. Now my commute is about 10-12 miles - yippee! I'm going to really enjoy this in the winter! :-)....As for the dryer balls, I really like them. They seem to make laundry dry faster and your clothes are actually a little softer when they come out.....I'm not going to touch the comment about the condoms LOL posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.09.06 (12:30 am) Reply to: LadyG Should I even be offered the job, the pay had better be *really* good. I will sacrifice a little for a really good position. And I don't think my mom had a clue that she bought me condoms! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.09.06 (12:34 am) Reply to: thecyberwriter I loved my old boss! He was great. He never micromanaged, that's for sure and he was always quick to praise. My current commute is just over 6 miles. I love that, too!! HOw long have you been using dryer balls? I used mine for the first time today, and I underestimated their power *L*
