Not enough has been going on for me to write a post. But it's so nice to not have any real work to do at work. If only work was always like this. I've been cleaning out my cube...throwing things away and taking things home. People here have been so nice to me lately, asking me where I'm going, etc. Then I started imagining what my good bye lunch will be like. Me and a few other people. If that actually happens, I hope I won't be too crushed. I'd probably be more embarrassed than anything. But I will be touched by the people who show up! |

I totally relate to your post, rosie!...It took me a good two weeks to pack up everything in my cube at my old job LOL And as I was going through some of my stuff, some of it I forgot I had! I was afraid to part with a lot of it, but I should have thrown more stuff out; I don't think I have taken a single item from my old job to my new one. No pics or anything! :-( What's the deal with that?! LOL
On my last day, a lot of people brought in treats for us to snack on, plus I received a few cards from well-wishers. It made me feel very appreciated :-) I didn't tell very many people where I was going until I was already gone. Ok, I told a few close friends at my old job, but for the most part, I didn't want people to know - you never know if your current boss will try and sabotage you or something. You probably won't have to worry about that like I did LOL (long story) At any rate....have fun your last few days!! :-)

I probably would have been more evasive with old work if I was going to work for the competition. A lot of people had left for the competition!

The weather was so poor today! I normally don't mind the rain at all, but today was just bumper-to-bumper traffic. Ugh!

After my diligent packing at my old job, I still left behind my most important thing -- my wrist rest for my mouse! I hope I can get it back :(
