Gotta change those workouts
11.09.06 (10:05 am)   [edit]

So in the last month, I've done no weight training except for some strengthening when I do my dancing. I met with my trainer for a session today, and I had told her what I had been doing. She decreased all the weights I'd been using, and we went back to the basics :( :( :( :(

I feel like all the progress I'd made all these years had gone down the tubes! I wish I could afford to see her every week. That's when I was totally hardcore!! Now I see her only once every couple of months. Lame.

But enough of the cardio-only stuff.  I'm going back to weights, so I can get my metabolism back up, and so I can get my strength back.

I am going to be hurting tomorrow! But that's okay! I'll be on vacation!! YEEEEEAH!

I saw my old personal trainer before I left for my trip. I will see her again next month, I think. I definitely want to see her before she goes on maternity leave!

This reminds me...don't you think it would be a good idea if exercise equipment did away with 'calories burned', and replaced it with little graphics of 'beers and chips earned'!

I don't know if that would just make me feel guilty...BWAHHAAHA All that work and to have it all disappear just by inhaling a chip and letting the ale touch my lips!

"Feeling like all the progress I'd made all these years..." I so know what you mean! I've been forced to do virtually nothing the past year and it's excruciating to know I've lost so much.

Forced to do nothing? That sucks! What happened?
