Active sleeping
11.23.06 (8:37 am)   [edit]

There is a nightie of mine. Often when I wake up, the left strap is completely off. How do I remove it in my sleep??? It's only the left!!

And sometimes I wear gloves to sleep. In the morning, one or both are usually off.

This morning on my drive to work, I thought about wearing leather gloves while I drive. I have really dry hands, and I think sitting in a heated car for at least 1.5 hours a day can be quite drying. Agent Provocateur has these really cute racing style gloves. They're black leather with red trim. I wanted to try them on, but never did.

Do you use the gloves to keep your skin soft?
or is it because you are cold up there in Canadia !
( I remember someone saying "Canadia" on the Simpsons once !)

my ex used to wear socks to bed and then kick them off in her sleep. Every morning she would accuse me of stealing them. Hmph.

Yes! The gloves keep the moisture in. I have this dead sea salt rub that is really nice. Sometimes I use it before I go to bed, lather on some hand cream, and put on the lotion!

For my part of Canada, it's not cold at all :)

Ew! Wearing socks to bed is just wrong! (But I bet you did steal them ;-))

I thought I read somewhere that sleeping people move more than they thought. Small movements over long periods of time can lead to great changes!

I wonder if anyone's invented a humidifier for the car. If they can have the air fresheners with scented liquids, can't they just put water in them?

I dislike gloves. I always lose only one of them. Never both. Just one.

I'm not quite sure why driving gloves went out of style...you should get some!

Small movements over long periods of time -- glaciers do that! We sleep like glaciers!! BWAHAHAA I know I don't move that much in my sleep since the blankets are still quite tidy.

How do you lose gloves??

A humidifier for a car sounds like a great idea, but would the car get a little steamy?? Every time I use my humidifier in my room, all the lights go out. Booo.

When were driving gloves in style?? I have some leather gloves that I've never worn. Maybe now is the time!!
