I constantly find myself chanting "Cleanliness is next to Godliness" and the freaky thing is, I believe it. LOL. I have experienced the same sort of wiredness where you just work and work and work like a busy little bee at the oddest hours. But for tidiness, I think some weirdness is warranted. I hope your car woes are resolved. posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 12.16.06 (12:25 am) "A tidy home makes for a tidy life, I think" you think absolutely right :) your rent a car idea is not bad at all ? it forced me to think do i really need to buy one? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.17.06 (4:18 pm) Reply to: SupremeAnna Thanks! I also did some major cleaning to parts of my place this weekend. It feels so good to see my table tops again! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.17.06 (4:19 pm) Reply to: breakouttheglass My car isn't too old, but there are some things that could be fixed (like missing the cover to my cruise control buttons and some paint touchups). I think I could trade it in, but it won't be enough for a significant down payment. I still need to save! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.17.06 (4:20 pm) Reply to: 69whisper Well, if public transit is good where you are, you might need to have a car :) We also have a car co-op program here, which seems to work really well if you don't need to drive often! posted by: inkspector (reply) post date: 12.17.06 (5:38 pm) I can identify with the "new tablecloth" (the "stuff") on the diningroom table. I just don't know how and why it piles up! I am trying so hard to clean up myself but I have this strange addiction to reading and writing! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.18.06 (10:18 am) Reply to: inkspector Are you like me in that I don't like putting things away?? *L* I'm also a packrat...so my dining table becomes my "to file" area. But once I cleared everything away, I've not wanted to clutter it up again!! |
