I have famous people in my photo!
12.22.06 (2:04 pm)   [edit]

Earlier this week, some girl friends and I went out for dinner.

We saw Jim Pattison at the next table. And when we left, I looked to see who he was dining with, and it was Paul Martin!

Anyway, I had my photo taken with Jim Pattison in the background, and now I know that the back of Paul Martin's head is in there, too!

FYI: Jim Pattison is some billionaire entrepreneur who lives here, and Paul Martin was Canada's last Prime Minister.

Cool beans , Rosie !

I've never met anyone famous or infamous.
My Dad has though.

Old time movie stars, Eric Clapton ( my Dad worked for American Military radio and tv and he got to do interviews for hose that were doing tours around military bases overseas).
Now Dad works at NASA and gets to met scads of astronauts and rock bands .
But not me.
Security clearances needed...
:(

sounds cool.
i have a great collection of autographs from "greats"..... i inherited the autograph book from my father and since then i got few additions in it too. With my father, i had a chance to shake hands with some greats and now in my own capacity i still do get chances to meet some greats. it is indeed a lovely feeling. They carry an aura, they truly inspire you. There is something about them :)

*L* I can't say I've ever met any astronauts. I seem to meet politicians. But I did get to get on stage with the Blues Brothers once!!
