Still not a fan of snow
01.10.07 (12:37 pm)   [edit]

I'm used to us getting about a week of snow out of the whole winter. We got more snow again this morning :-( I only hate it because our roads get so icy, and parking at Mr. Nick's is a pain. :-p Since the roads hadn't been cleared yet when I drove to the gym this morning, it was a little slippery going up this one hill.

I'm *so* glad my car made it. As much as I like 'stangs, I am not getting another one for a loooong time. If I was preggers, I wouldn't be able to drive my car. My stomach isn't even a handspan away from the steering wheel right now!! I'm seriously considering a Volvo for my next car, which means I'd really have to save up. (Me, save? Yeah, right!)

I have some spa appointments lined up, and I am looking forward to them. I hope this place is okay since it's new. I am using up some promotion certificate I bought back in November. It was like $50 for 4 separate visits, but I will be paying extra for some upgrades I requested.

Not much new going on. I finally got around to doing some cleaning last night. It felt good to sit in my clean home!

Ugh. This snow is brutal! And to boot, I just talked to one of our guys in NW and he says it hasn't stopped snowing over there. To boot, campus is open today. NIGHTMARE waiting to happen tonight. I just know it.

It started coming down hard in Burnaby again! And I hear Langley has at least 7 inches. I think it's just Vancouver that is quite clear?!? I think I will try driving home now!

I SOOOO hear ya, rosie!! My little corner of the world is supposed to get some nasty weather this weekend and I too am not excited about it LOL I don't really mind the snow - although a little of it goes a LONG way!- at least you can get around in it pretty well. I happen to live in a part of the U.S. that not only gets snow, but we also get good 'ole ICE :-( LOL Now driving in that stuff is an experience in and of itself! LOL (but hey, you already know about that LOL)

I would love to have a Mustang but I was wise enough to know it wouldn't fair too well in an area that gets snow and ice...thanks for reaffirming the fact that I don't need a Mustang!! LOL :-)

i have given up the idea of buying a new car. I think whenever i will have to go for a longer drive i will rent a car and my Great Subaru Justy is doing fine on local routes :)

I'd like to have some snow...a little of it. Snow and Soutehern drivers don't mix! heh

THe thought of getting a new car has only recently popped into my head. My car, unfortunately, isn't going to last forever!

We haven't had one speck of snow this year which, is unheard of 'round these parts! Global Warming? Hub could drive through a snowstorm blindfolded! I love the snow but, probably because I DON't have to drive in it :)
I'll trade you my accord for your 'stang! ;)
I've had my eye on a Jag for a while now, it's just sitting there and we've been promised first shot at it.
Oooooh a massage? facial? Whatever it is, enjoy!

*L* An Accord would be a lot more useful for me now than my 'stang!! But I think I'd take a Jag over both of those *L*

I'll be getting a massage *and* a facial! And a pedicure! YEEEEAH!

Forget trading cars, we'll just trade lives! ;)
I'll even keep my kids and hubby and you can keep Mr. Nick!
Deal? hahaha
