To boot, campus is open today. NIGHTMARE waiting to happen tonight. I just know it. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.10.07 (4:14 pm) It started coming down hard in Burnaby again! And I hear Langley has at least 7 inches. I think it's just Vancouver that is quite clear?!? I think I will try driving home now! posted by: thecyberwriter (reply) post date: 01.10.07 (4:57 pm) I SOOOO hear ya, rosie!! My little corner of the world is supposed to get some nasty weather this weekend and I too am not excited about it LOL I don't really mind the snow - although a little of it goes a LONG way!- at least you can get around in it pretty well. I happen to live in a part of the U.S. that not only gets snow, but we also get good 'ole ICE :-( LOL Now driving in that stuff is an experience in and of itself! LOL (but hey, you already know about that LOL) I would love to have a Mustang but I was wise enough to know it wouldn't fair too well in an area that gets snow and ice...thanks for reaffirming the fact that I don't need a Mustang!! LOL :-) posted by: 69whisper (reply) post date: 01.10.07 (9:35 pm) i have given up the idea of buying a new car. I think whenever i will have to go for a longer drive i will rent a car and my Great Subaru Justy is doing fine on local routes :) posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (6:29 am) I'd like to have some snow...a little of it. Snow and Soutehern drivers don't mix! heh posted by: Twitchy67 (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (7:15 am) Wait...if you were preggers???? You leaving a subtle hint there? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:41 am) Reply to: thecyberwriter I hope you've stocked up on groceries!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:42 am) Reply to: 69whisper THe thought of getting a new car has only recently popped into my head. My car, unfortunately, isn't going to last forever! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:42 am) Reply to: FinalyFree *L* I am okay with snow when I don't have to go anywhere!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:43 am) Reply to: Twitchy67 No! I'm not hinting!! I'm not preggers! posted by: doeeyed (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:43 am) We haven't had one speck of snow this year which, is unheard of 'round these parts! Global Warming? Hub could drive through a snowstorm blindfolded! I love the snow but, probably because I DON't have to drive in it :) I'll trade you my accord for your 'stang! ;) I've had my eye on a Jag for a while now, it's just sitting there and we've been promised first shot at it. Oooooh a massage? facial? Whatever it is, enjoy! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:45 am) Reply to: doeeyed *L* An Accord would be a lot more useful for me now than my 'stang!! But I think I'd take a Jag over both of those *L* I'll be getting a massage *and* a facial! And a pedicure! YEEEEAH! posted by: doeeyed (reply) post date: 01.11.07 (9:50 am) Reply to: rosietulips Forget trading cars, we'll just trade lives! ;) I'll even keep my kids and hubby and you can keep Mr. Nick! Deal? hahaha |
