I'm attending a web seminar one right now. I love wireless! This seminar is really dull at the moment. I hope I am not missing anything. The speaker is giving a talk about an application that I am really interested in using, but I thought I'd be able to see it in action while he talks. He has this PowerPoint presentation up but we've been on the same slide for about 15 minutes now. I just want to see it all in ACTION! I also got my first work voice mail this morning. I was notified via e-mail, and to listen to the voice mail, I click the link in the e-mail, and then I log in to this Web site to retrieve my message! But now I am set up to receive the voice mail in my e-mail as an MP3 file. NEAT! So I found out about this lingerie store that I should probably stay away from. Not only does it carry pretty things, but the store also sells books and toys! They had a booth at the Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show on the weekend, and I saw some really cute stuff. I think they have a Web site, but I haven't been able to find it. Boooo. But I think this is another blessing in disguise. I think about my finances a lot...more like how I could let myself accumulate unnecessary debt. So now, this is my new plan -- greatly decrease my long-term retirement savings for a year so I can pay off my line of credit. I don't really want to, but I think I should pay off this debt more quickly than I already am. I am getting more antsy about getting a new car. I wish I could get it NOW! I don't even want to tempt myself by going for a test drive. I hope I like it. I don't know what else I'd want if the test drive sucked. Next up...Volvo S40 AWD! YEEEEAH! I wonder if I could even afford a new one -- probably not. Maybe I should start playing the lottery. (I'm so tempted to unmute my phone so I can make a lot of noise just to annoy the other seminar attendees...Or type messages to them. I probably would if they didn't know the messages were coming from me. Sometimes I just want to make smartass remarks to the other attendees are are asking questions and making comments. Mostly I just want them to wait until the end of the presentation!!)

I think you're plan about paying down the debt is a good one. I've always heard that it's pointless to save when you have debt (not referring to mortgages and cards etc.) All I can say is good luck lady! I know you can do it!

I have a phone like yours at my work also. I like how it sends you an email when you have voicemail LOL I'm still getting used to it though!
I had a boring work function I had to go to this morning also. I would love to have had a computer in front of me so I could be HERE as opposed to actually paying attention to work LOL
I like those naughy lingerie stores but haven't been in one in years! LOL Some of that stuff is very overpriced too! And I don't know about you, but the times I have been in one of those places, I always feel like I walk out with an education LOL

When I get stuck in boring seminars and people ask pathetic questions, I scribble down snarky remarks that I then play out in my head. I imagine them crying and then running from the room. Hehe, I'm evil. It helps pass the time. :) Hope you get a new car in the near future.

:) its a good idea. I think first you retire all your debts and then think of buying the new car and finaly increase your retirement plan savings again Meanwhile keep away from such stores.
I also think the same way, let the person finish his presentation and after that you can clarify the queries, if any. 15 min. is too long a period for just one slide :). I bet people like me will be yawning

I agree with most everyone else concerning paying off the debt now, you're so young that you have plenty of time to rebuild your retirement fund and lets face it, unless you get a big windfall, making monthly minimum payments takes forever to say nothing of all the interest.
