Oh yeah! One other thing that stuck in my mind about my spa experience yesterday...

As part of the pedicure, I got a calf and foot scrub. The girl was like, "do you work out?" I said, "yes," and she said, "I can tell."

I'll take that as a compliment, I guess.

As much as I like compliments on my body, I really dislike when people are touching my body in a professional environment to also comment on it! It's happened with other massages, too. And one doctor. That was really creepy.

With these 5 day a week workouts, I need to do laundry more frequently. What I really need is more workout clothes and more towels!

I really need more bath towels. The ones I've been using at the gym are also the ones that Mr. Nick uses when he's at my place. For the life of me, I wish he had told me how AWFUL my towels are!!!! They feel like sandpaper!!! BWAHAHAHAHA I couldn't stop laughing when I asked him why he didn't tell me how sucky my towels were. And I'd been giving him the WORST one of all because I thought it was the best one. BWAHAHA

I am using towels that are over 10 years old. The ones he's been using are probably almost 10 years old. I am going to feel bad about throwing them out, but what else can I do with them?

Is there a brand out there that is really good for the price you pay? There was a towel I liked from Linens 'n' Things, but it took soooo many washes for the lint to die down. I also like Nautica towels, but I would have to wait for a sale before buying those! Something soft and absorbent would be great.

Don't throw those old towels out! Your local animal shelter can use them to line animal's crates with while they are waiting to be adopted! I'm sure that the puppies and kitties don't care too much if it's a scratchy old towel... something to lie on is better then nothing!

I had no idea! I will contact my local shelter when I am ready to give up those towels!

That is a totally good idea. Those puppies and kitties need to stay warm too!!

Find some nice absorbent towels for Mr. Nick soon.

Those killer calves of yours getting attention again? Definitely take it as a compliment!

I ordered some new towels a while back from Brylane Home.
They've always got some kind of special going on. I don't know if they deliver to Canada or not though.
Hubby gets all of my old towels for garage rags.
I like the idea of donating them to the animal shelter :)

I only need to save one for cleaning spills and stuff :) The rest can go to the animals :)

You know, people used to comment on my calves even when I was a kid. My friend asked me what I did to train them, and I had to tell her ... nothing!

I don't think we even have Brylane Home here! I will have to google it!

LOL I have had people compliment on certain physical features I have...and yeah, sometimes it's weird for me as well LOL

It's SO hard to find fluffy soft towels that are not cheaply made, plus don't cost a fortune. I definitely think shopping around and even online is the way to go for finding the best deals on those!

I picked up some from Costco on the weekend, and they weren't too bad! Cheap and do-able for the gym!

I've been working out! I'm trying to fit a total of ten workouts into a week, and sometimes meet that goal. Lost 31 pounds so far. And, I'm going to reward myself with my first pedicure. I've previously laughed at men who would dare to endure such silliness. But, I've worked hard, and I deserve it.
