That's a good thing! posted by: RoxGirl (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (12:34 pm) It sounds like you spent every minute of the day with Mr. Nick... but I do know what you mean about "it felt like you hardly spent anytime together"... quality of the time is important too! Don't stress yourself out too much about makign lunches in advance! You always have 4 or 5 more days to get them done!! :) Or do like me and buy prepackaged salads :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (1:01 pm) Reply to: doeeyed My fridge is completely full of food for this week! And I still don't have enough! Mr. Nick is definitely very sweet. I guess we are good to each other. He kept saying how good I was to him (is food really the way to a man's heart??). posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (1:03 pm) Reply to: Roxgirl I get prepackaged salad, too, and then I add stuff to it. I usually bring about 6 containers of food to work and then some fruit. It's a lot of work getting 2 meals' worth of food to work every day! posted by: RoxGirl (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (2:43 pm) 6 containers of food??? You must carry a big bag to work ;) You sound very organized though! Just take some quality time for you and your Beau! XOXO posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (2:46 pm) Reply to: Roxgirl My lunch bag is pretty much a cooler than can fit like 12 cans. I bring 2 sources of protein, 2 things of vegetables, 2 things of some starchy carb. And then cutlery, too. posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (5:35 pm) You just overdid it, you should have spent more time snuggling with Mr. Nick, take your vitamin c and drink lots of fluids. posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 02.05.07 (5:48 pm) I agree with LadyG, you just had way too much on your plate--and I don't mean the steak, lol. Oh and steak tip 101--marinate it for a few hours in Italian salad dressing before cooking. You can cook it most any way and it still comes out great :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.06.07 (9:31 am) Reply to: LadyG I think I did overdo it on Sunday. I couldn't do any of that stuff Saturday because I was rushing around a lot, too! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.06.07 (9:32 am) Reply to: FinalyFree I thought the flavour of the meat could have taken care of itself, but it was flavourless! HOwever, I could really taste the bacon. MMM!! BACON! posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 02.06.07 (11:13 am) Reply to: rosietulips Try the marinade next time, but be careful all the oil in the dressing makes it a wee bit flammable, lol. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.06.07 (2:24 pm) Reply to: FinalyFree Flammable food?? I am already afraid of doing Chinese stirfrys because I hate getting splattered with hot oil!! |
