Woo! And boooooo!
02.12.07 (11:40 am)   [edit]

I've felt a little leaner over the last couple of days. I don't know if it's from not eating or working out more, but I've lost a couple of pounds. So yay!

Last night I went with Mr. Nick to his parents' for dinner, and his mom had homemade brownies for dessert. They were delicious! And now I have to (quickly) find something else to make for Mr. Nick for Valentine's Day. I was going to bake him a heart-shaped pan of brownies!!!

He likes his chocolate, but i will have to find some replacement dessert!!

What about a heart-shaped cookie...giant-sized! :)

That would be cute...But I am too stubborn. I bought a heart-shaped baking pan just for Valentine's Day, and I am determined to use it!! I *must*!

How about a heart shaped cake of some sort....maybe a sponge cake, add some strawberries and whip cream and strawberry shortcake complete! :)

Are there any easy recipes around?? And something that I would bake from scratch?? Strawberry shortcake sounds delicious!

my wife prefers to buy cakes and brownies rather than baking herself and spoiling on important occasions. and i like it that way :)

Maybe next year I will just buy something. I thought I"d go for the personal touch. With all these tools and ingredients, I've had to purchase, I think the price comes out the same!

Williams-Sonoma has some cool mixes to play with!

Chocolate tart crust with a likkered up choco mousse inside , topped with fresh raspberries and whipped cream.

First, Trader Joe's and now Williams-Sonoma?!? We don't have Williams-Sonoma here either. I might get a gift card from there for my cousin's wedding gift, though!

Williams -Sonoma is on line, but it's too late now !

Still there's a choco drenched universe easily discovered out here !

Yummy! My cousin is going to have one of his wedding gift registries at Williams-Sonoma. They have some nice stuff!
