(hope and pray for yours soon). so its inevitable ??? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.23.07 (11:53 am) Reply to: 69whisper Last night was my first time in a bridal shop. Up until then, I'd never even thought about what I'd want my dress to be like BWAHAHAHA Anyway, I can't see my friends calling off their wedding nor our friendship blow, so it is inevitable for me to participate! posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 02.23.07 (3:05 pm) Just think, if yyou are spending that much money, then so are her bridesmaids... now times that amount of money by all the people going! Ughhh... Wedding's aer just silly all around. I'll be saving up my money for a big trip! :) I'm sure you'll have fun in Vegas though!!! Wooot! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.23.07 (3:11 pm) Reply to: Fitgirl Eloping just sound so much easier! I think there is only one bridesmaid (out of 4) who doesn't seem to have a problem with the costs! She keeps saying to the bride "it's your day!" Vegas would be fun...no doubt about that. It would be even more fun if it was paid for! posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 02.23.07 (6:22 pm) rosie all that you should be paying for is your outfit, all other expenses should be paid for by the bride including this trip. posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 02.23.07 (6:26 pm) I will repost my blog on who pays for what again soon. posted by: thecyberwriter (reply) post date: 02.25.07 (5:46 pm) I sure don't miss having to pay to park!! LOL I was paying $75/month at my old job for monthly parking, but that was in a covered, heated garage...with security! LOL I'm glad to be putting that money towards something else :-) I bet you are going to be so glad when this whole wedding is over with, am I right?? LOL Who knows, yours will probably be next :-) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.26.07 (7:20 am) Reply to: LadyG Thanks :) I have heard so many versions of what the bride should be paying for for her bridesmaids. When I saw a budget checklist, all that was on there was gifts for us. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.26.07 (7:21 am) Reply to: thecyberwriter I'm just so used to not paying for parking. When we move to our new office, I think we will actually be able to park in our own parking lot FOR FREE! I am sure the wedding will be okay; I just don't want to be spending gobs of money on it. posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 02.27.07 (8:58 am) Wow. I didn't realize being a bridesmaid could be so expensive. I'm making a mental note about this. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.27.07 (10:04 am) Reply to: themarina It doesn't have to be expensive to be a bridesmaid although I thought past etiquette had the bride paying for most of the cost. When my best friend got married and I was her maid of honour, she paid for the material for our dresses and she found someone who could make our dresses for $60. I think she only wanted a night out as her stagette, too. |
