The title is supposed to remind you of Madonna's Like a Virgin...BWAHAHAHA

I had my eyebrows threaded yesterday. I had been saving them up! I hate grooming my eyebrows. What a pain. Anyway, hearing my eyebrows get ripped out was like listening to Velcro. I'm glad she was fast. When she was done, it felt like my eyebrows were the size of my forehead. But they look great now!

And I must still be stressed. I usually find getting waxed very relaxing, but it was kind of painful yesterday.

my wife operates on my cheeks with a thread sometimes and she is good at it. I kinda enjoy the itching pain :)

*L* Usually I probably wouldn't mind the pain, but the esthetician told me that if you are stressed, it will feel more painful!

my wife applies some kind of powder before she threads me. Did she apply anything ??

It's possible! I usually get my eyebrows waxed, but I definitely hadn't had them done in a while.

Threading is a form of hair removal where the esthetician uses a thread. I guess the thread ends up being wrapped around the hair, and yanks it out?? I am not quite sure. But I would do it again!

bwahhahahahaha your eyebrows felt the size of your forehead. I heard that threading doesn't cause the swelling like waxing does.

When I looked in the mirror, my eyebrows only looked a little pink! The aftermath was not as horrible as it felt. BWAHAHAHA

I had never even heard of an esthetician until last week when I had a facial in Florida and now I've heard the word umpteen times since then :)

Hmmm, I wonder how they actually wrap the thread around the eyebrow? I'm going to have to google now :)

I've considered threading but have never actually got it done. Maybe the next time my eyebrows need a fix...

Apparently, I keep spelling esthetician wrong, but I haven't looked it up in the dictionary to find the correct spelling yet!

To my knowledge the thread goes around each hair...I can't imagine how it works when the hair is so skinny!

I definitely prefer it over waxing. The lady who did my brows said she would never wax her face! I hear you get your eyebrows threaded for as little as $5. I paid $12 for mine which was also cheaper than waxing!

LMFAO, rosie! I have never been waxed before - anywhere on my body LOL I think I would rather eat dirt than have my eyebrows waxed ;-) LOL

Waxing is fun!!!! But maybe only if you have a semi-high threshold for pain. But if you'd rather eat dirt... ;-)
