And I am hooked on your blog!! posted by: lenfanterrible (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (11:09 am) And I can assure that you are an excellent writer. I've read your first book twice... 'The sweet smell od success', what a nice tittle! posted by: lenfanterrible (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (11:10 am) of posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (12:18 pm) I can totally relate on the kitchen issue. When we were doing renos on the new office, they stuck us in a really nice space in an older office building up the road but the kitchen was disgusting. And I know what you mean about hair dressers. I used to go to someone I really loved at Axis but when he was 'promoted' to senior stylist I stopped going as often and when he finally moved away, I gave up all together. Now I only get my hair cut on a whim. posted by: doeeyed (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (12:49 pm) Did you find anything that appealed to you at the potluck? I hate losing a good hair dresser! They are so hard to come by. posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (1:02 pm) You know I'm so sick of hairdressers that I literally get my hair cut once a year because I can't stand the mess they always make. I've all but given up on finding a good one. I hope you can find one that isn't so expensive. It's a shame you lost one that was decent though, even if she wasn't great. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (1:11 pm) Reply to: themarina I hear our new kitchen will be quite nice! I can't wait! I *need* my hair cuts! Axis seems really popular. My friends go to Gloss on Granville at 16th. It's like 2 doors from a Suki's. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (1:12 pm) Reply to: doeeyed There was a lot of tasty food at the potluck, so no starving for me :) It takes a while to develop a hair relationship! I am not looking forward to starting up a new one, but a couple of my friends go to the same hair dresser and they totally rave about him! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.05.07 (1:13 pm) Reply to: wolfen I like consistency with hair dressers *siiiigh* I can't go more than 2 months without a trim! posted by: ggirl (reply) post date: 04.09.07 (9:20 am) Oh god...losing your stylist is incredibly traumatic. As for the job search, why not keep going? Unless it's taking tons of time and energy, it never hurts to keep looking. Hope you're having as good of a day as you can after having lost your hair dresser. ;-) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.09.07 (9:35 am) Reply to: ggirl I only seem to do my active job hunting when I am really hating my job. I'm still seeing what's out there! |
