04.13.07 (11:42 am)   [edit]

I got an official letter today about my pay increase. It noted my last current annual salary. All this time, I thought I was making more! Oops.

Time to do some budgeting again! Our pay periods are changing and I'm going to contribute some retirement savings through my company. Less spendable cash! WOO!

I wish we had an RSP plan at the office. I think I should into the government one that I see posters for on the bus...

I love that my employer will be contributing to my RRSP as well! Maybe it is something your HR can set up through the company that does your health benefits?

In the long run, you will be better off saving now, while you are young. And ya, I love the employer RSP plans too! :) My employer even matches contributions up to 5% of your salary!!! WOOT!

It's good that you know for sure where you stand money wise.

My employer is matching up to 3% for our RRSPs! I'll take what I can get! It's hard trying to save when I also want to pay down my debt as quickly as possible!!

Sometimes I get a little obsessive with my budget and planning. The hard part is sticking to a budget!!

You are good.
I love your practicality.

Thank you! I wish I was better with my money. I got the book "Smart Women Finish Rich" and I wish I could follow everything in it.
