And a tip for the peroxide thingy, mix equal parts of peroxide with water then apply. You'll still get the wound sterile and clean but you won't damage any of the exposed tissue--a nurse taught me this :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (9:04 am) Reply to: FinalyFree Ooooh, I wish I had known the trick earlier. I don't plan on using more peroxide! And yesterday I found out it had expired in 2005. BWAHAHAA I think it was probably already a little weak. posted by: twitchy67 (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (9:52 am) Time for you to get a PVR or DVD Recorder; not only do you get substantially longer recording time, it looks 1000% better than VCR... posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (9:53 am) Reply to: Twitchy I thought about it when my VCR died...I hate my VCR!!!! PVR would be my first choice *sigh* Something to decide on later, I guess :( posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (10:46 am) Owwwwww! Heel scrubbers drive me nuts! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (12:24 pm) Reply to: wolfen And I have a job interview tomorrow, too! No flip flops for me! I'd better pile on the bandaids. posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (12:57 pm) Ouch! I hope it heals really quickly. I'm wincing just thinking about it! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.28.07 (1:29 pm) Reply to: wolfen Thanks! I hope it heals quickly, too. I like having skin! posted by: ggirl (reply) post date: 06.01.07 (4:50 pm) I've been trying to break in some new shoes myself. They're high heels that I've been wearing around the house in socks. I think that might be really "fashion forward," though. Did you know they have bandaids now that you can use to prevent those blisters from ever coming? Hope you're feeling better. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.04.07 (12:04 pm) Reply to: ggirl I've heard of such band-aids! One of my blisters didn't pop but has turned a lovely shade of purple. I should follow your lead next time and wear my shoes around the home more, first! |
