After hearing about all these costs for a wedding I think I'm going to elope.. Now there is a fee for a make up consultation.. didn't know brides needed a makeup consultation to begin with sheesh. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.04.07 (11:48 am) Make-up consultant? Just how ugly is your friend?! ;-) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.04.07 (12:11 pm) Reply to: katz I had no idea about makeup consultations either. My best friend didn't have one for her wedding. This friend is going all out!! Had I known what was going to be expected of me for this wedding, I would have said no. We're not even close! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.04.07 (12:11 pm) Reply to: bawdy There is no price for perfection! posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 06.04.07 (3:25 pm) I totally agree! I wouldn't pay for these things! It's part of the wedding cost! And I've never heard of makeup consultation that you have to pay for. Hell, I had my make-up done for grad for free! I just had to buy the touch up kit which cost like $20 or something! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.04.07 (3:34 pm) Reply to: themarina We have an appointment with another makeup artist this week, and she is going to charge $40. I'd better not have to chip in for that! I think I did my own makeup for grad. But for this upcoming wedding, I am sure I will be paying for my own hair and makeup. Grr! posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 06.05.07 (12:05 am) She is going way overboard, which is fine if you have money like Paris Hilton. Most of these brides have champange taste and a beer budget. |
