The sun needs to leave
07.09.07 (8:40 am)   [edit]

It's my last day before I start my new job. I've been telling people I've been unofficially unemployed, which is true. Two days of no pay. I am looking forward to my next paycheque. Once that comes, I will have to redo my "budget". Sometimes I wish I had a financial planner.

I feel like I haven't been home for a while. I think I could handle the retirement lifestyle, too.

I did pitch and putt for the first time on the weekend. We were out for one of Mr. Nick's friend's birthday. Had I known that none of the other girlfriends were going to go, I doubt I would have gone. Anyway, I think I will look into taking golf lessons at some point. And he finally made it onto Facebook. I was kind of proud that he was refusing to give in. And then he didn't even tell me he signed up. I am a little choked about that.

Sometimes I wonder if I am cut out for commitment. How Sagittarian is that..?

Edit: I just checked out this week's secrets at PostSecret...One said, "RosieTulips, you suck at being in love."

I could use a financial planner to. Golf is fun, I use to play when I was a lady of leisure.

I don't see why Facebook is so popular. So..do you feel you suck at being in love? After my last experience, I wish I did.

Golf seems like such an intricate game. I just think it would be fun to whack some balls :)

I'm not sure why Facebook is so popular. I am kind of bored with it, but it is a great way to catch up with people.

What happened with your last experience with love?? I think I do suck at being in love!!

It was an LDR and was fine until she suddenly decided she wanted to end it so she could have another baby. I had asked her about that before getting involved, and it was not an issue.

That's hilarious about PostSecret! Golf is the most frustrating activity known to man, but always remember: the worst day on the golf course is still better than the best on in the office. And that from someone who loves his job.

I hope golf lessons aren't expensive...maybe this interest in taking lessons is for getting on his mom's good side??

Yeah, she has a son from a previous marriage, but started to panic when she turned 33 that she better act if she wants more, so she set up an appointment with a fertility clinic. She should have thought of that before getting involved with me. I resisted, but she assured me it could work.
