posted by: ashish028 (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (10:37 am) its not necessary to eat eggs if u go GYM..U can have SOYABEAN stuff n other veg stuff which are more better than Non-veg foods... posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (10:45 am) Reply to: ashish028 Like I said, I hardly eat eggs...But I have them in my fridge, and I don't want them to go to waste! And I eat lots of tofu and drink only soy milk. Thanks for the advice. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (11:41 am) Buy fresh eggs, and save the old ones for Mr. Nick, then you won't have to worry about getting sick. heh posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (11:47 am) Reply to: bawdy I don't want to waste eggs! But I don't want anyone getting sick either! posted by: bratmom (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:02 pm) The eggs should be good till the end of the week. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:25 pm) Reply to: bratmom Oooh, thanks for the tip! I don't know when I'd be cooking them, though...I have breakfast plans set out all week already! Maybe I will just boil them all. Or have eggs for dinner...There's no time to bake this weekend either! I did a Google for "eating expired eggs" and some site said it was okay to eat them up to 3 - 5 weeks after their expiry date! I wouldn't take *those* kind of chances! posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:27 pm) It all depends on how old the eggs were in the store. I think eggs can last well past the expiry date if kept in the fridge! I know I've eaten month old eggs (past the date on the carton) and I still live to talk about it! Just make sure they don't have tiny cracks in them. Little cracks will make them expire real fast! posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:27 pm) Fresh eggs, in their shell, can last in the fridge for 4 to 5 weeks after purchase. posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:29 pm) Oh ya, about your gym fiasco. I'd be pissed off too. I mean, you pay a membership fee to be there, the least she can do is find an alternative for you that works. Sometimes the people working at the gyms take their jobs way too seriously! (Blocking a fire exit? Who is she kidding??? How long do you do this excercise with the medicine ball? An hour?) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:41 pm) Reply to: Fitgirl Good thing I have a keen sense of smell! I'll be sure to inspect the eggs before eating them. BWAHAHAA I think a set of my med ball twist exercise takes less time to complete than a set of crunches! It only takes a couple of minutes! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.06.07 (2:42 pm) Reply to: LadyG Thanks for the egg tip :) I will not be throwing out my eggs just yet! posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 09.08.07 (10:42 am) From my experience, the "advisors" at such facilities are mainly interested in sales and commissions, not helping you with your fitness. So, she said to use a hollow wall? Do it! When it becomes obvious you are about to do serious damage, they will probably be more obliging to your needs. |
