At least it will finally be over soon. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (12:09 pm) Reply to: bawdy I love your optimism! posted by: bratmom (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (12:33 pm) Awww to the annivversary of the first msg from Mr Nick. As for the wedding... Hmm... no comment... lol posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (1:04 pm) Swearing and racial slurs? I'm glad I stopped online dating before I ran into those guys. It wears thin pretty quickly doesn't it! But at least you met Mr. Nick. YAY technology! :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (1:19 pm) Reply to: bratmom Eloping *must* be the wave of the future! I used to joke that Bridezilla has set the bar for our circle of friends in terms of weddings. BWAHAHHAA posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (1:19 pm) Reply to: wolfen I did online dating for several years! Mr. Nick has definitely been the highlight of my online dating experiences! posted by: Barnabus1 (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (2:24 pm) Looks to me like you spent a bundle!! but as a confirmed batchlor...I wouldn't know about these things...I always say, "I'm not married - still happy!!! :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (2:27 pm) Reply to: Barnabus1 I don't think I even spent that much on my best friend's wedding when I was her maid of honour, but she made it easy for everyone to keep costs down...she definitely wasn't a bridezilla! posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (2:35 pm) Oh WOW. You know, I probably would have backed out of the whole thing by now. It sounds like they've picked a good weekend - it's supposed to be nice. Hope all goes well and that you have a little fun! :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.07.07 (3:13 pm) Reply to: themarina I think I would have backed out of being in this wedding if I knew of a gracious (graceful?) way of doing it. I hadn't counted on having to spend so much money on someone's wedding. If we were close, I don't think I would have minded, but I definitely wouldn't consider her one of my best friends or anything. I'm glad it's supposed to be nice this weekend! I hope they will have removed the barricade from the dead body police incident by then! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.08.07 (10:47 am) Me? I'd elope and then have a fiesta to celebrate with friends later. Only prob is my most special friends are scattered all over the place. I hope you don't fall flat on your face and you have a blast. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 09.08.07 (11:49 am) Reply to: rosietulips Oh come on, claiming to have the ebola virus is a graceful way to back out of anything. I thought we'd established that. posted by: katz (reply) post date: 09.08.07 (1:18 pm) wow can't believe that wedding is finally here. Who has 3 stagettes? that's a bit much. And wow can't believe it's been a year since you met mr. nick. Happy for you :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.10.07 (10:38 am) Reply to: scubadiva Eloping and then having a party later is definitely the way to go! THere'd be so fewer headaches. It was a good time, and I didn't trip once! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 09.10.07 (10:39 am) Reply to: katz Thanks :) And thankfully, no more weddings coming up until next year. This particular one has made me think about marriage. |
