Mr. Nick's left town. I miss him already. I wonder how long that will last...

We had a fight last night. I'd post about it just for record's sake, but I don't really want to think about it. I am also too tired to think about it. I guess we made up, but I am still bummed. The fight reminded me of what Finalyfree pointed out to me. Other girlfriends have had the same experience, too. We'll be upset about something, and then we tell our men, and then they turn everything around, with the result them being upset and all that shizzle, and *we* end up apologising.

I asked him if we were okay, and he said he'd be okay in the morning after sleeping. I asked him what was wrong, and he said he was upset because I "made" him think about his ex. I've always been a little bothered by some of things he's said (in passing) about him and his ex. They were generally just too much information for me.

The massage thing has something that has bothered me a lot, and I have mentioned it to him before. He never really addressed it when I brought it up before so naturally, I'd bring it up again ;-) He had bragged that he built up some massage muscles because his ex really enjoyed them. From the time we've been together, he's massaged me for like 10 minutes, twice, and both times he complained. And there is a massage oil stain on the rug in his bedroom. Maybe it might sound petty to someone else, but the whole massage thing just really bothered me.

Of course everyone has a past, and the past is the past...but when I don't have any choice what I get to hear, and when he refuses to answer my questions about his past, that gets my goat. I mean, really...how fair is that? And what does he have to hide? I never talk about exes, and if I do, it's not an accident.

But what he did say about his ex and the nature of their relationship has probably (and hopefully) satisfied my curiosity. I was only hoping to learn something.
