No spending for now
09.17.07 (9:40 am)   [edit]

Silly me...I left my credit card at a restaurant in the mountains.

I don't know when I will get it back! Mr. Nick and I went out for dinner a really nice dinner Saturday night, and after I paid with my credit card, I didn't take it with me! The restaurant did call me super late that night, but we were already sleeping, and I didn't recognise the number so I didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message either!

Anyway, the next day I realised my credit card wasn't in my wallet, and I realised what I had done. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open yesterday or today. I wish I hadn't left my credit card behind, and I wish they would have called me earlier! That means I won't be able to talk to anyone there tomorrow, and I am going to ask them to mail it to me.*sigh* I feel naked without, but I don't think I will need it for now.

I am sore from ATVing though!! It was a lot of fun. Yesterday we did this advanced tour and went on a few trails. I've done ATV tours before but were geared more towards beginners, which meant a lot of slow traveling but higher views to look at. We did a few trails, and some were rather rocky and bumpy. I preferred to go quickly over those!! The controls weren't really made for small hands, so my thumb got really sore (thumb controls the gas), and a sore thumb meant a really jerky ride for me!

I think you'll live without a credit card for a few days. heh

I know what you mean about the sore thumb. You'd think they could have devised a better gassing system for ATV's then that! geesh!

We wanted to ATV on the sand dunes when we went down to Oregon but didn't get a chance to. We've decided to include it for next year!
