For the longest time, I've wanted to buy some Martex Brentwood pillows. I slept on them in a hotel in Portland, Oregon, and really loved them.

When I did a search on the Internet, it seemed there was no way to get them because I'm not an American resident. Anyway, with the Canadian dollar almost on part with the American dollar, I figured I would try again. I used the online chat option at this Web site, and asked the person if there was any way a Canadian could get some of those pillows.

The Web site says they do not ship outside of the USA and the shipping address must match the credit card billing address. (There's a service in Washington near me where you can have things shipped there and they hold it for you. I thought I might have been able to use that service. I can't. I probably could for other online stores that offer discounts only to Americans...Anyway, it would be just a short drive across the border for me.)

But the CSR told me that they only don't accept online orders that ship outside the USA. I wish they had said that on the Web site, unless they would rather not deal with shipping elsewhere? She said I could send an email to Customer Service and place an order, and that they accept only Paypal. Time to fire off an email!
