He's got a good thing going!! maybe time for the gravy train to stop?? posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 10.25.07 (2:15 pm) I just have to come right out and force Collin to pay sometimes! I think he knows that I usually step up and pay for things I really want for myself anyways... but it's not fair for one person to feel that they are out more money then the other. I guess the difference for me, is that Collin and I rarely do the pricier "special" events. SAD :( posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.25.07 (2:17 pm) Reply to: sebastianjoshua My man does pay, but if it's something that I suggest doing, I end up paying. I would have a hard time asking him to pay for something that I want to do... posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.25.07 (2:18 pm) Reply to: Barnabus1 *L* Well, it's not like I'm his sugar momma, but if I didn't buy tickets to things I wanted to do, we'd end up not doing them. And I'd have a hard time asking him to pay at the same time! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.25.07 (2:20 pm) Reply to: Fitgirl I'd have such a hard time telling Mr. Nick to pay! I even have a hard time asking people for money they owe me. Why don't you do "special" events? If I didn't suggest them, I probably wouldn't be doing them either. posted by: Barnabus1 (reply) post date: 10.25.07 (6:53 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Any chance you can play the Oh! I'm $10.00 or $20.00 short game? and see if he will step up to the plate?? hehe posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.26.07 (9:40 am) Reply to: Barnabus1 *L* He would step up to the plate if he had that kind of cash on him. Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't. We love living in a cashless society! I had a guy do that to me on a date...but it wasn't even really a date. He said, "oh, I left my wallet at home." posted by: inkspector (reply) post date: 10.28.07 (7:39 pm) Rosie, maybe you need to just plan one or two special things you want to do a month and do some smaller cheaper or free stuff in between. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.29.07 (8:18 am) Reply to: inkspector Yes, that is a good idea! I've never had to budget before, and I am still finding it a challenge to follow one *L* posted by: ggirl (reply) post date: 10.30.07 (12:06 pm) I know what you mean about inviting people to go places, etc. I always think I should pay if I ask someone to go with me. You need massages. You have a sucky job. There must be some way to balance the two. |
