The best waxing experience ever!
10.30.07 (10:05 am)   [edit]
I tried out a new waxer yesterday. The last place I was going to was charging more than I wanted to pay. When I first started going there almost two years ago, it was $50/wax, but after 10, you got one free. Then they raised the price and got rid of the freebie, so I did some research for other good waxers. The last place also didn’t have the most convenient location.

Anyway, I found this girl who pretty much waxes only two body parts. She was so good! She was really meticulous and discussed a lot about after care. She was also extremely personable and was chatting the whole time. Her studio was a little different, but I think it was clean.

So if anyone out there is looking for a good Brazilian or eyebrow waxer in Vancouver, contact me, and I’ll give you the info :)

I asked her why she did only two body parts, and she said she was into visual esthetics. Apparently, it is more of a challenge to get symmetry. Anyway, not only does she do “regular” Brazilians, she also does shapes or adds dye and/or rhinestones.

And it wasn't even creepy when she complimented my legs, either!

Okay, rhinestones sound painful. I wonder what shapes people want to have done?

After chemotherapy, I abandoned eyebrow waxing for eyebrow threading. It's not quite as hard on my sensitive skin.

I don't think you can get Brazilian threading.

So, who does your back hair? Just kidding!

Well...I figure by the time I am comfortable with splurging a little cash on such a luxury I should be about, oh 65 or 70...and from what I understand hair growth has slowed greatly by that age, BWHAHAHA!!

I've been wanting to get a brazilian for some time now, but my modesty holds me back! I would love to find someone that I could feel comfortable (and professional) about dropping my panties for and letting them wax my nether regions! I'm getting a massive kink in my neck from doing it myself!!!!! HAHAHAHA

You definitely don't want to choose the wrong person to be doing things to your nether regions! I've heard about people losing skin and getting burnt! Ew! And Ouch!

BWAHAHAA I think people get things done like geometric shapes? Lightning rods?? Alphabet letters?
Oh my gosh, I think Brazilian threading would be so painful! I've had my eyebrows threaded and I prefer that method over waxing.

Back hair provides some nice padding!

Then you'd only have to wax once at that age! I joked that I'd want to be waxed when I am laid to rest.

How the heck do you do it yourself??!! Good God! Check out your reputable salons :) I'm sure these waxers have seen a lot of women, so don't worry!
