Pajayjay cookies
11.05.07 (3:46 pm)   [edit]
It wasn’t until recently that I heard the term “vajayjay” for female genitalia. I’m not sure I’d ever use it. I usually stick to the biological names of body parts if I need to talk about my own parts. Or maybe I do use slang. Anyhow, I’m moving off track here.

I recently made some peanut butter and jam cookies. They have no official name.

I thought I could call them Pajayjay Cookies. They’re round peanut butter cookies with a dallop of jam in the centre. Maybe the next time I make them, I could make them oblong.

My last few batches of cookies have turned out really soft and almost cake-like. I wonder if it’s because I’m using those Airbake baking sheets or if my butter is too soft when I make my cookies.

Okay, first--you're a dragon! We're both karmic signs. I don't know if that's good or bad.

As for the cookies, I'd put my money on the baking sheet. Oprah's really fond of the vajayjay word. Good name for cookies. lol!

Vajayjay? Sounds retarded to me.

I also have never heard this word you speak of... vajayjay? Really, people call it that?
I do however, love the name for the cookies, pajayjay. PBnJ. It's like a play on that! Cute!

I like soft cookies too, but not so soft that they're practically falling apart in my hands!

I can't remember the last time I watched Oprah...maybe when she was still doing Maury-like shows. Apparently, they used "vajayajay" on Grey's Anatomy. I watch that show and didn't even pick up on it!

I only heard people on the radio talking about the term vajayjay...I guess it would be a welcome word to our vocabulary?! BWAHAHA

Yes, Oprah uses this word on her show. I never heard of it either till she used it a few times.

Anyways about your super soft cookies. Are you melting the margerine/butter to soften it? If so don't do that, let the margerine or butter sit at room temp for an hour before you begin then use it. See if that works and your cookies are not so crumbly.

Ya, Oprah started using the term 'vajayjay' when she started having 'ol "Dr. What's-His-Name" as a guest, you know the one that talks about ANYthing!! heh.

Not really sure about the cookies, only to say that I rarely every make cookies with butter. I have much better results using butter-flavored or plain Crisco sticks--and the main reason is they are much less likely to burn as I am notorious for 'forgetting' about them! heh

Maybe it is my butter...I probably let it sit out too long. Since I usually want to get started on them pretty soon after I get home from work, I take the butter out of the fridge in the morning! I will have to shorten the warming up time next time :) Thanks for the tip!

-Well the butter-flavored Crisco won't taste exactly like butter but they aren't bad, in fact I normally just use the plain ones. They're so handy and like I said not nearly is likely to burn! lol I really dislike overdone, overly-crunchy cookies of any kind.
