Since you've worked all year...might as well get the bonus if he gives one! posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 11.22.07 (9:30 am) Yeah, you need to move on! If he's not willing to let you go to a conference as career development, find a company that will! I know they are out there! Good Luck on the search!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.22.07 (9:41 am) Reply to: Barnabus1 Even though I heard about the possibilities of bonuses, I can't see this company giving out any, especially since they claim that profits are going to fall next year due to the current US exchange rate. I haven't been at my company quite a year yet, and I am finding out more to lead me to believe that this is one cheap ass company! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.22.07 (9:42 am) Reply to: Fitgirl Thanks! I don't think my boss tried really hard to even find some money to get me to this conference. And there was no bargaining either despite that there is a training budget for the group. It's either $700/person a year or there is a group sum where the coverage is first come first served. |
