Especially if I'm making something for a special occasion OR I've spent a lot of money on the ingredients. Sorry yours kinda sucked :( THRILLED to hear that your Dad is gonna help you out!!! Wooo Hooo!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.27.07 (11:47 am) Reply to: FinalyFree I am really thankful for the help my dad is giving me, but he is also just using his line of credit :-/ I made some Rice Krispie treats to make me feel better about my previous baking disasters. But I wasn't totally pleased with them either. I didn't make them chewy like I usually do. I didn't use the usual pan either. So now I have thin crispy pan of Rice Krispie treats!! However, I did use my new Le Creuset round oven to make them...and it is way too heavy to lift with one hand!! posted by: apyjo (reply) post date: 11.29.07 (8:43 pm) not because I couldn't take the cold anymore...but because my butter wasn't dropping down to "room temperature" for my baking. *Alert, alert : serious domestic diva in the making !* posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.30.07 (9:53 am) Reply to: apyjo I know...this is getting scary. Have you ever shopped at kitchencrafts[dot]com? They have some nifty stuff! Good service and there are always coupons to find online! |
