I can't get enough of Dilbert...
11.28.07 (1:03 pm)   [edit]

I feel like this illustrates our development group...

And this one is so true when non-writer higher ups want fast results!

There was something else I was going to say, but I don't remember what right now.

Yesterday, after my session with the chiropractor, I felt like I was suffering from whiplash! Thank goodness that pain has subsided somewhat. It still hurts to turn my head certain ways. The last time I had this kind of pain, I had slept on my side funny. I also had a dull headache that is still kicking around. Ugh! And the nerve of him trying to sell me a pillow! Oh, but get this...At first, he said, "I'm going to give you a pillow." I asked him how much it cost, he said $110. Doing a search tells me that even if I was remotely interested in buying the pillow, I could get one for around $40 online.

It sure pays to do a little searching on the net!!! My brother used to go to chiropractors a lot, but I'd never let one touch me!! just a different opinion I guess...don't really have anything against them!!

Nice play on words "give you a pillow"!?! He wanted to "Sell you a pillow".

You can get those same pillows elsewhere for way cheaper... I once paid $199 for a pillow and it was SO NOT WORTH IT! Never again will I fall into the expensive pillow trap! ;) LOL

Thanks! I'm so glad the neck pain has subsided. It's still there, though. I wonder how the chiropractor will turn it around and accuse me of doing something to it myself!

I've never liked chiropractors. I thought I would give it one more shot, but after this experience, I will never go to another chiropractor again!

I used one of those buckwheat husk pillows, and I love them! They offer great support, I can shape it however I want, and they keep my head cool! Pillow shopping is the worst. I hate it!

Rosie, one of my best friends was a chiropractor (she's retired now), and she always said if a Chiropractor tries to sell you anything or you leave in pain more than twice, run like hell and find one that isn't a weaselly quack. 'Nuff said.

Speaking of pillows, find yourself a tempur classic pillow. They make the neck support ones too, but I find those uncomfortable...when I got my tempur mattress and my tempur classic pillow, all my neck pain and morning headaches pretty much vanished. Really.

I didn't trust this chiropractor from day 1! But I figured he was useful, I would put up with his huge ego and awful bedside manner.
I tried one of those memory foam pillows and I didn't like it at all. I just use one of those buckwheat husk pillows. They provide great support, and I shape it around my neck! I did do some research on the pillows chiro tried to sell me. They seem okay, but I would never buy it from him!
