posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 01.04.08 (11:31 pm) One Key is terrible for a two bedroom condo. posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 01.05.08 (5:58 pm) Those keys with the "do not copy" suck. What really sucks is that they want so much control over who lives there and who comes and goes that they limit you to one key. When I had one of those keys at my old apartment they at least gave me TWO of them so I could let my boyfriend at the time have one. posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 01.07.08 (9:52 pm) I guess the one-key-only is for security purposes, right? I can understand that but they should make sure there's access for tennants 24 hours a day, everybody gets locked out once in awhile, huh? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.09.08 (11:00 pm) Reply to: LadyG I hate having only one key to get into my building. I just have to make sure I never lose my keys are the battery never dies! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.09.08 (11:00 pm) Reply to: breakouttheglass I have one of those do not copy keys, and needless to say, I have no friends who work at hardware stores! What I really need is a copy of my key fob! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.09.08 (11:01 pm) Reply to: wolfen A lot of places will let you have a minimum number of keys equal to the number of rooms in your suite! My strata is lame. I do plan on getting an extra key fob for Mr. Nick, though! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.09.08 (11:02 pm) Reply to: FinalyFree When I had questioned what to do if the battery in key fob died, and they told me to make sure I changed the battery regularly *eyes roll* They are very strict about security around here. I guess that is good for me, but it sure makes things inconvenient! |
