I hope I am not acting too soon! But I am now in the process of using up vacation days I have at my current job. I'd rather take them instead of getting paid out. (Not like I have a lot of vacation days...I'll have accumulated 6.5 days by mid-March. I'm just going to use 4 days, which is what I accumulated in 2007.) Vegas is in the works! Oh, Vegas...how I have missed you. Sure there are lots of places I could be going, but it's just going to be a short trip! And I can guarantee it will be action-packed!! And now I am fighting off a cold *ACHOO* |

I'm soooo jealous of you going to Vegas. I want to go so badly. My husband and I plan to go there some day for our honeymoon (which we're delaying). Where will you stay? Ooooo!
I hope your cold goes away. Maybe you should use up your sick days too! :)

Why the delay? :D End of February seems like an less expensive time compared to my other visits. (Summer is the cheapest...great if you like HEAT!).
We haven't decided where we're going to stay yet...probably not the priciest hotels (boooo). I can't wait!! Time to start making lists...

We would probably go in the summer to avoid the crowds and the premium pricing. But the reason we haven't gone on our honeymoon yet is because we have a dog that gets separation anxiety! Seriously, if we left him for two weeks to go to Vegas he'd be a mess. We'd be a mess worrying about him too. Our dog is 9 now so we will just wait until he's no longer with us. It's limited our travelling completely in the meantime. Good thing the dog loves the cottage so much...at least we can go there without trouble.

It's true it would be nice, but he doesn't travel well...just getting to the cottage is a major ordeal! We're homebodies for now...but it gives us lots of time to plan and save for our honeymoon down the road. Vegas Baby! :) Hope you have fun if you end up going!
