Even if you do it for 6 months or a year, it will give you enough extra money to really make a difference going forward. posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 01.20.08 (6:43 pm) That is a wonderful offer, you have a great mom. posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 01.20.08 (7:40 pm) Sounds like a good opportunity to sock away some cash, but you seem a little skeptical, as I would be! lol I'd always be wondering if she was going to come back to live there, or if she'd complain about the way I decorated, etc. But if you think you can manage that I'd go for it! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.20.08 (8:28 pm) Reply to: OldSchool My worry is finding a good tenant...who knows what could happen. But at this point, I would have to apply to rent out my place. They only allow a maximum number of rentals in our buildings, which is not a bad thing! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.20.08 (8:29 pm) Reply to: LadyG Yes, my mom is very good to me...most of the time ;) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.20.08 (8:30 pm) Reply to: FinalyFree The opportunity *would* be great. She wouldn't move back into her place...Why would she when she'd be living in a nice big house?? The only thing is that I like my place more than hers...BWAHAHAHA I have some time to chew on this. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 01.21.08 (12:08 pm) I'm sure you're no stranger to handcuffs yourself! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.21.08 (3:47 pm) Reply to: bawdy I haven't touched a pair of handcuffs since I was in university!! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 01.23.08 (11:43 am) Reply to: rosietulips If it was up to me, that would change! |
