posted by: OldSchool (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (9:16 am) I've had enough snow for this winter already. I am ready for Spring, but it is still probably a couple months away. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (9:24 am) YAY! SNOW DAY! - you are going to share those chocolate chunck cookies right? ;) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (9:24 am) Reply to: OldSchool *teehee* Overall, we get really little snow over the winter. Nobody is used to it! The city practically shuts down! We usually get a lot of rain...I'd take that over snow during the week :) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (10:07 am) Reply to: PirateGirl Well, with 2 and a half dozens of chocolate chunk cookies...maybe I *could* share *just* one! MWUAHAHA posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (10:43 am) I took a snow day today too! Too cold to leave the house, really!!! Enjoy the cookies! They sound very nummy! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (10:46 am) Reply to: Fitgirl It's warming up a little here, but I actually turned on the heat in my study!! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (12:00 pm) It was -55 Celsius with the wind chill somewhere in the prairies today! And we're about +6 today. Weird. posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (12:01 pm) I'm jealous. I had to slush my way through to the office from one of the places with most snow. Ugh. Hopefully the trip home tonight won't be too bad! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (12:15 pm) Reply to: bawdy It's warm for you! It was -6 with the wind chill here, but that's only what the weatherman said. I still haven't made it out the door yet! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (12:16 pm) Reply to: themarina Hopefully, the rains will come soon and wash everything away!! posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (3:44 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Awe! - Thanks! LOL!- ;) posted by: rahulsharma (reply) post date: 01.29.08 (11:38 pm) it was 50 celsius right posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 01.30.08 (11:09 am) Reply to: rosietulips We had a major storm today and really got dumped on. I don't think I'd ever want to experience such heat! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.30.08 (1:49 pm) Reply to: bawdy Did you at least get fluffy snow? Spring can't come soon enough! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 01.31.08 (12:36 pm) Reply to: rosietulips No, we got DEEP snow. :-p posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 01.31.08 (1:22 pm) Reply to: bawdy Do you have a snowblower?? Those things are neat! Not that I've ever used one. I did shovel some snow not too long ago. It was fun! But I probably wouldn't feel that way if I had to do it every day. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 02.01.08 (12:30 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Not anymore..it never worked when really needed, and as it aged, the cost of maintenance kept increasing. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.01.08 (12:58 pm) Reply to: bawdy What do you do for your snow, then?? posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 02.02.08 (12:03 pm) Shovel! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.03.08 (8:18 am) Reply to: bawdy What's the best kind of shovel?? You must be an expert by now! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 02.03.08 (12:38 pm) Reply to: rosietulips I always preferred using one of those big snow floats. |
