Frustration with your job sure doesn't help. posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 02.04.08 (1:11 pm) It could be the February blahs. S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) could have you feeling like things are missing from your life. I used to go to the tanning salon to fight the winter blahs. Tanning is bad for the skin, but the "sun" used to make me feel much better in the winter. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.04.08 (1:30 pm) Reply to: bawdy I didn't think job frustrations would really affect me that much since I'm not a dude. But they definitely don't help! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.04.08 (1:32 pm) Reply to: wolfen I've seen the light therapy boxes in Costco. I wonder if they'd help. I never thought the seasons affected me that much. But I've been feeling blah for a while now. I was out for brunch on the weekend, and one of girls was so orange from tanning! posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 02.04.08 (3:31 pm) I go through cycles when I wish I could just stay home and lock everyone out. I'm not sure what it is but I think it may just be stress? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.04.08 (4:08 pm) Reply to: themarina It would be nice to find out what it is that is stressing me out! That would help a lot. posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 02.04.08 (6:59 pm) In my opinion, we are always changing. You can't go back, and really would not want to. Sure, you are more complicated, and some times of life aren't a lot of fun. But if you are a person of depth, you're maturing and growing along the way. I think that is good. posted by: ggirl (reply) post date: 02.05.08 (7:05 am) I think it probably has a lot to do with your job. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.05.08 (9:40 am) Reply to: PastorDave Your words are so comforting to me! But I still don't love who I am right now. I definitely am glad I'm not the same person I was 10 years ago, but I feel like I've lost my zest for life right now. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 02.05.08 (9:40 am) Reply to: ggirl I sure hope life gets a lot better once I am done with my current job! It's boring and my boss is lame! Laaaame! |
