It's Chinese New Year today! I took the day off, and did way too much shopping.... But a Chinese New Year tradition is to have something new :) I called my grandmother today to wish her a happy new year. I told her I went shopping today, and she suggested I save my money. But when she thought about it some more, she said it was okay to buy something for myself since it *is* Chinese New Year! I bought myself a lot of baking stuff. Ugh. When will I stop?? :D I am glad I took the day off to go watch the lion dances. They were really good. I might have to make it an annual tradition! |

Thanks! Happy new year to you, too! I took over 200 photos, and they've all been uploaded. I just need to choose which ones I want to make public! Lion dances are awesome...I wish I knew kung fu just so I could learn. They're two people in (Chinese) lion costumes (same costume), and do synchronized moves. The music is just cymbals and drums!
